Slow! I got the version 1 for free. It is usable but sluggish, takes a few seconds to lookup a word.Just install the update with more info, but the user interface and the speed seem worse. Still slow. Hope for more updates to improve the speed.

Keeps getting better A long time ago, I thought this app was just ok but since then, it's improved a lot! There are so many new things for it now than when it first came out. The new icon looks better too and is less boring. Thank you for this great app, I always use it. By the way I got this app back when it was free ;).

Best dictionary I gave this app 5 stars because I constantly use it. Simple, easy to switch between dictionary and thesaurus.
I don't use the extra features like speech, rhyming, or translation. But I would like to see antonyms added for the next update.
The large app-size is a bummer, but that's a small 'space' to pay for a dictionary that includes every word I've looked up so far.

Not worth! This dictionary is too basic, no pronunciation. The speed is pretty slow. That makes the word shake feature not helpful.The price is too expensive for features provided. At first I gave this app 2 stars. Ridiculous I liked this dictionary as another reader for WordNet content with much better presentation than WeDict, but was not thrilled by its slow speed, partially due to the extaneous effect of screen transitions. For heavan's sake, it's a dictionary; just turn the page... no need to be entertained or dazzled in the process.
Then the update came that increased the file size almost 10-fold, likely due to the unexpected addition of audio pronunciations.
While I'm sure some are just thrilled by this feature, I would have liked the option to switch to a text-only version with, optionally, a choice of a third pronunciation system.
Now every subsequent update will likely take absolutely forever for a feature I will never need or use. And the next day when you sync your device, hoping to be out the door at a certain time, you will need to wait forever again for the iTunes device backup and yet again for the transfer of the new purchase... or cancel those operations until later.
With a 10MB or so file, no big deal. About 100MB? Yikes. That's around 15-20 songs or so at reasonable quality.
I guess I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth. So sorry, but at 100 megs, I may have to axe this thing and look for another second choice (to WordBook, thus far king of apps for WordNet content). Unfortunately, the free WeDict app's UI and layout are nearly horrendous.
