Good free digital zoom. @jmdhc, clearly you have no idea how digital zoom works. It works by CROPPING the picture. Every camera that has digital zoom does this. The iPhone (any flavor) has no optical zoom so in order to zoom you have to crop. Period.Love the app. Works great.

Good job I think this app works very good I have all the zoom apps, zoom in, zoomer cam, ect. Yes they all crop to zoom in that is all you can do with a fixed lens. I do like that you are able to zoom in on the area that you would like to blow up.
I tested the app to each app I have zoom in, zoomer cam and I think with this one you have more control. And it is free. Nice to see that

Improved from last version This version finally matches what the review picture shows. There's a slider bar for digital zoom since the iPhone doesn't have optical zoom. I like how the zooming is real-time as opposed to last version which just let you take a picture and crop it afterward manually. The only thing I would improve is the time it takes to save a picture. After taking a picture, the viewfinder is still active, but there is a spinning circle showing that the picture is saving which is frustrating since you can't take a picture during that time.

Should be titled free crop There is no live real-time zoom. You just take a pic and crop it down and even that interface is not well done. Doesn't help that it is very buggy.

Not worth your time When this app isn't busy crashing, it's unbearably slow with an awkward interface, too much navigation needed to accomplish its sole function and very poor response when trying to set the zoom area. The author needs to start over from scratch and this time consider an option to preserve aspect ratio. Until then this is just one more free download that's worth what you paid for it.

WTF how did this get past apple? This app is bs. The screenshot is nothing like the actual application, it crashes alot, and it takes FOREVER just to 1) take a picture, 2) zoom into the picture, and 3) save a picture. And it doesn't have a function where you can zoom into pictures that you have taken earlier. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME!!!!

The picture of the app at the bottom is false It says you can zoom it (from the picture below the app description) by dragging the little bar and zooming in and zooming out. But it is not true, this app lies!!

Works great for me.....! Obviously, you can't get a zoom from a fixed lense. This utility let's you crop & resize a photo. You use this instead of the "camera" app. After taking a pic, you crop using your finger. Slick!
