CameraBag focuses on emulating styles and processes from some of the most interesting cameras of the past to enhance the mood of an image, and the results are stunning.
The cameras included in CameraBag are:
"Helga" - Square-format toy camera with washed-out highlights and old-school vignetting.
"Colorcross" - Hazy, chemical color-swapping straight from the darkroom.
"Instant" - No need to shake this instant-developing film.
"Magazine" - Rich tones for glossy pages.
"1974" - Your father's camera: faded, tinted, and hip.
"Lolo" - Shoot from the hip and take life as it comes with vibrant, colorful shots.
"Plastic" - Sweet honey tones like these could only come from the cheapest of cameras.
"Cinema" - Dramatic, moody coloring with a widescreen aspect ratio.
"Silver" - From the earliest days of photography, when taking a shot was a much larger production than it is now.
"1962" - Dynamic, high-contrast black and white from the photojournalism of a bygone era.
"Mono" - Smooth, refined, balanced black and white.
"Infrared" - Simulation of the popular landscape photography technique.

To use CameraBag simply:
1. Select. Take a new photo from inside the app(iPhone only) or choose one from your library (iPhone or iPod Touch).
2. Filter. Quickly swipe between CameraBag's cameras to view your photo in the various styles.
3. Save. You can save the same photo in multiple styles to the Camera Roll.
4. Share. Email your photo to friends or you favorite photo sharing service.

Great User Tips!!! Here are a few tips to get even more out of CameraBag. Start doubling up on the filters! Choose a filter and save the photo. Open it again from the iPhone's camera roll and choose a second filter.- Sepiatone. Save first in 1963 (black & white), then save it in 1974.- Black & White Vignette. Save first in Helga, then in 1963.- Warm Vintage. Save first in 1974, then in Lolo.- Century Old. Save first in 1974, then in Helga.- Super Helga. Save it twice in Helga for a more intense light burn.Experiment with some of your own combinations. Depending on the colors in your photos, you can come up with some really unique visuals!I'm just a casual user. Name changed to protect the innocent? Great simulations. The "Helga" tool is to mimic the artfully imperfect vignetting/saturation/variable focus that was common with the plastic lensed medium-format camera branded as Holga which was marketed as an extremely affordable camera to the Chinese in the 1980s. The "Lolo" tool is to mimic the Lomo LC-A a Russian camera known for its blown out colors and sometimes artful, sometimes atrocious blur from long exposures. I'm sure the names were changed to avoid problems with lomography.comWhile color film was certainly around in 1962, my family certainly didn't use it much, this "1962" setting does a good job of increasing contrast when it strips the color. The "1974" setting makes it look like a print was made 30+ years ago and then hung on the wall at your grandma's house. Fun app, I'll probably use it more when I upgrade from my iPod Touch to a iPhone 3G, most of the photos in my iPhoto library are taken with vintage/weird film cameras so it will be nice to un-sterilize the photos I take with my iPhone. - CameraBag review by invisible_touch
Slick! This is great because I totally hate the iPhone camera, and I feel like I can actually share some pix washed through Camerabag! I would also be very interested to see a (slight) fisheye effect. And possibly an infrared.
I like that there are no level adjustments etc. I just want to make an "insta-cool" image. I do enough photo editing on Lightroom for my business; the last thing I want to do is fully edit my iPhone photos.

Perfect for the iPhone Camera This app takes any and all flaws of the iPhone camera and makes them assets. Any focus issues, lint or grease on the lens, waviness (jello effect) due to subjects in motion, low light graniness, all look good with one of the many camera effects simulators in CameraBag. Basically, the output looks as though you MEANT to take the rough shot that you did. I use CameraBag as my main camera app, and upload pictures on the go using the Facebook App. The ability to crop and resample images, in addition to the camera effects makes the pictures look really retro when posted. Especially if you just like to take pictures of things you see on a daily basis, CameraBag makes these shots interesting for others to look at. It seems a little chuggy not sure if thats cause I'm shooting at max image size or what but I shoot some concert images tonight and they were great! One touch fix ups I use photogene too and I like them both. I really like the one touch fix up you can use to make your underexposed and "lacking" photos look nice. I look forward to more filters in an update. I dont want to think to hard about 2 megapixel photos and camera bag allows them to just look cool with little thought. New-found Fun... I've rediscovered the camera on my phone due to this app. I've read reviews saying that using photoshop is better than this (of course it is, it's a powerful photo editing tool for a desktop/laptop), but to be honest I don't want to take the time to jump on my computer to play with effects, saturation, contrast and the like on a photo I snapped with my phone. If you want full featured software, go with photoshop, but if you want fun filters on the fly to add a little creativity to an otherwise lackluster phone camera, then I wholly recommend camerabag.
Sidenote:
For better photo framing (instead of the annoying gray bars over the frame in camerabag) use the default iPhone camera, then open this app to use the filters.

It was a good effort, but the fisheye filter is a little disappointing. If it were full framed with the rounded effect, then it might be better, but as it stands it makes the photo look like a ball bearing. Even with this gripe, I still recommend this app. - CameraBag review by Mandrake916
