ColorSplash lets you quickly and easily give photos a dramatic look by converting them to black and white, while keeping your chosen details in color. This effect draws the viewers' attention to the colored areas, creating striking images.
The intuitive and responsive multi-touch user interface makes ColorSplash amazingly easy and fun to use. Use your finger as a brush to "paint" sections of your image black and white, or to bring back the original color. Zooming in and out using the two-finger pinching gesture allows you to work on details with pixel-accuracy.

Amazing! I am in love with this app. It makes my photos look absolutely gorgeous. It's intuitive, easy to use, and fun.
And the developer for this app has definitely put in a lot of time and effort into making this. I appreciate the videos that help you navigate the app with more ease.

Well done I don't take the time to review apps nearly as much as I should but I just had to say good things about this one. The program is well designed, easy to use and has all the help and tricks built right into the program. It allows you to take your own pictures and make them into even cooler art. It's like letting everyone be a graphic designer. So cool. Definitely worth the couple of bucks.

Very cool I've had this app just a few days, but I have transformed several botanical pictures to new works of art. The functionality is very well thought out. Being able to zoom in and paint at almost the pixel level is really helpful with odd shapes.
A couple of suggestions for users: I reduced the "brush" point size to smaller than the default for very fine control. I also suggest turning off auto-rotate so you can turn your device as needed while painting. Both of these are changed through the "Settings" of your device. Thanks for a very nice application - one that I will use quite often.

You can change the brush size Just not in the app. Go to your iPhone settings and colorsolash has a tab there where you can adjust the brush size.

Resolution Problem - Solution Hello all,I have noticed the number of people responding with comments about the bad resolution on some images. I have found a way to work around it by taping on the completed photo making the top and bottom menu bars disapear and then taking a screen shot by holding the home button and pushing the sleep button. The screen will flash and make a camera sound. This photo will now show up in your photos the exact way it was displayed in color splash.

Fun App to own! Great app. Took photo of my daughter and edited it with app all from the phone. Impressed lots of people. Had to ding it though with in my opinion one big flaw. The iPhone is only a 2MP camera and after you edit in ColorSplash the saved file is reduced resolution. My results go from a 1200x1600 resolution pic to 360x480 after using ColorSplash. Great for iPhone but lousy if you want to export to your computer. Should have option for full resolution editing.

So much fun!! I love this app! It helps me bring a special spark to all of my favorite pictures. I had several pictures that I took at the zoo on a school trip that were really nice, but hard to see. The animals blended in with the backgrounds too much. I used this app to make the backgrounds black and white, and the animals popped right off the screen!! I love it! =]

Works best with snaps taken on Iphone It says exactly as said. I have spent many a hours playing around with snaps.
Did notice one problem. The picture quality is fine if I select one clicked right through iPhone. However, if I import a snap and them work on it, the quality is not as good. It comes blurry.
Hope this problem is taken care off in future

Fantastic! Another tremendous job by the developer of Juxtaposer! Hendrick Kueck's intuitive use of the iPhone interface is probably the best of any applications in the app store. Awesome This app is so amazing. But people need to stop freaking out. It doesn't change colors, it just makes it the original color in the original picture. Read the info. The red is some special thing. And u don't need to change the brush size, just zoom in really far. U can just zoom back out when ur done, duh!
