Addicting & entertaining I've been absolutely addicted to PhotoSwap since the day I installed it ... Simple concept: snap a pic, send it to someone random, and get a pic they just took in return. If you like the pic they sent, reply to them -- otherwise, move on to the next random person.
I think it is the most fun when you reply back and forth - sometimes you'll get pictures of someone's day, sometimes crazy faces from a group of friends, often just random objects people come across.
I've actually swapped back and forth between a few people for more than a week -- even swapped pics of my email address with them and made a pen pal out of it.
This is a great program for the easily entertained (like me!) and even better if you take some creative shots. Just like the people you'd meet at a busy party, a lot of them are boring or just want to be dirty. Wouldn't recommend the app to kids or those who couldn't handle the occassional naughty picture (which you can report) coming through.
Overall, I really enjoy PhotoSwap. Give it a try!

Perfect for the voyeur This is cool!You can share a small bit of your life with a complete stranger and they share a bit of their life with you.It's interesting to see what other people send back in reaction to a pic you sent.You can't save pics people sent you which is cool because it keeps things "in the moment"If you're going to try this program don't be a poophead and just take pics of your monitor and things you googled!To the developers:Might be cool to have a "friends list" so if you get a good conversation started you can keep going back to it.I saw you're implementing a map feature... You may want to limit just how closely people can see others. I mean don't post up the exact address of where they shot the pic. Ew Lots of fun. I just got temporarily blocked. I have NEVER sent a bad picture. I'm assuming it was an accident. I wish perverts would stay off of this,,it's not a porn app. I'm getting kinda bored with it,,,I think I saw the last pair of hairy legs in a bathtub my stomach can handle. Learn the Lingo First off, I LOVE this app. I quickly learned there's PhotoSwap lingo, like "I don't report," meaning you're up for anything, ANYTHING, someone may send you without feeling inclined to hit the "report" button which I guess enough occourences of gets someone banned from using the app. I've accidentally hit "report" on one or two people that I didn't mean to and I've gotten a couple of warning messages even though I never send inappropriate pics - unless someone asks me to. :-) There really should be some type of "communities" or perhaps a setting for your level of tolerence, like "General" and "Adult." Why is it that... ... Every new application I download devolves into a tool for horn dog guys to get cheap thrills? Leg shots, crotch shots and hand written requests for nudity are common. It would be cool of we could send a little description along with the picture so that the person on the receiving end could have an idea of what they are looking at. App great - People using it not so great App has great potential, but the users need to step up. Out of the dozen or so pics I've already sent, only 2 return pics were "worthy" (one was someones pet, the other a self portrait). The rest were - pics of someones feet, pictures of a towel, tv sets, bathroom rug (I don't want to know what they were doing when they took that), computer monitors, nameless blurs, etc.On mapping - I also think it should be "generalized to a town / 20 mile circle, etc. Too easy to find someone otherwise.Also app seems to be slow synced to the camera. Addicting I agree with everything scott93933 said. I'd like to communicate with who I'm exchanging photos with. Also, when u hit info, I'd like to see where they're from with out closing the app to bring up a map. Very intriguing, although a few small improvements would be nice. This app is both fun and addictive, but there is still room for improvement.First and foremost, the user should be able to specify (in settings) whether or not they are willing to receive "unrestricted" photos. This would essentially set up two tiers of swap: "unrestricted" pref people could swap amongst themselves, and those who have chosen to apply a limit would only swap among theoretically "safe" users. Would this be a perfect solution? Probably not... but unless there was a method in place to monitor the content of each and every photo sent (which would probably drive users away!) it would at least add a level of voluntary protection.Second, in preferences it would be nice to have an option to automatically store incoming and/or outgoing photos in a photo album, so that they could be reviewed later. If the album images could also retain whatever tag info the user had applied it would be ideal... perhaps automatically add a screenshot to the PhotoSwap album when the user info is viewed? - PhotoSwap review by Vintage Season
Still a PhotoSwap Addict I see people still clamoring for 'buddy lists' but I still like the way it works now. Buddy lists mean blocked lists as well. I don't think you could have one without the other.I find 'I don't report' to be a big turnoff. I, myself, choose not to report. Anything I find on there I don't care to see I just don't reply to, and usually post a new photo to 'erase' the other.
