Best radar app This is the fastest to load,easiest radar app out there and it's free.
-Landscape
-Loads instantly
-easy to use
-Doesn't mess up your location
-you can see the whole COUNTRY without having to change your location you can just zoom out(I think this is the only weather app besides TWC that does that and this does it quicker).
THE ONLY PROBLEM(1) is that this app has ads. Which annoys me because this is potientially such a good app but the ads take alot away from it and the ads are from thing I have already.
So for now 3 Stars---I told you ads take away from it-----
Fix this and it will be five stars...

Ad banner It's a good app and free. The description really should say there is a banner ad across the bottom the whole time it is running.

Hands down, best weather app on the iTunes store. Great app for tracking local weather conditions. I use it several times a day. The graphics are very pleasant and the pan/zoom transitions are wicked fast.I highly recommend this app for all of your weather radar needs.

No local radar ? I live in OKC which has one of the top weather centers in the nation and this app doesn't show any Oklahoma radar readings! We just had two storms in the last two days and both times the radar is showing completely clear over Oklahoma! What gives? The graphics are nice but if it doesn't show any actual weather info for my area it's useless. Please add Oklahoma radar!

Free = Ad Supported = Ad is in the way I like the radar as it functions quite well, but the Ad gets in the way especially in landscape mode. I would rather pay for a non ad supported version. The screen shot is misleading as there is the typical banner add at the bottom below the controls.

it does not show rain by me When it is raining it does not show up where my house is but every where else it is misslending and I give it a enough time to load it shows rain in the same spot and the same design of the rain for 5 days. If they fix the bugs this would be a great and very useful app if they I will bring the stars from 2 to 5 if the bugs and updates work good enough. Then this app would great and very useful.

Much Love for this FREE App Very accurate in my metropolitan area. We've had an unusally active summer and this app has literally saved me several times already.
I was getting ready to leave a friend's house recently on my scooter when several storms rolled though downtown. I was able to watch the storm as it rolled over us and then out of harm's way. I jumped on my scooter and got home safely before the next band of severe weather rolled through.
The ads are extremely annoying, however, and I would happily pay for an ad free version.
As is, though, I still give it 5 stars for accuracy and price!

Radar image will not move or animate. Thought it was supposed to be moving radar. It's just a picture for me. Glad its free. Would have been a rip-off otherwise.

Free Weather Radar App MyRadar is a decent weather radar app but needs a lot of work. It allows you to move across the country so you can view a wider area than just your local area. You can expand and contract the map. You have two choices for background maps, one with highways and the other with natural features. The natural background can be expanded to show a satellite view of the land. You can change the speed of the rain motion timeline with a slider. One suggestion for improvement would be to allow a longer time-span for the previous rain motion, perhaps controlled with another slider. This free version has ads. I can't recommend this free app. After using it for a few weeks, I found--compared to other weather apps--that the radar information is old and not up-to-the-minute. This makes a radar app fairly useless. Other apps take their data directly from the NWS feed but MyRadar apparently does not. Another problem is that it is slow. Another problem is that the rain clouds often don't move.
