Offender locator lite Do not depend on this app. Finds less than half of known offenders when it finds any. Part of my job is knowing where these offenders are in my community. Use your state or local web based locators instead.

What a joke! This app is ridiculous. I am a single father of 2 children, a son and a daughter both under the age of 3. I am also a registered sex offender. Yes that's right I'm on the list and the information isn't even close to correct. I am not a monster and I am an excellent father who made the mistake of sleeping with a girl who I did not know was under-aged. People are downloading this thinking they are safe with the knowledge. LOL Dont they realize the chances of an offender is less then 10% that he/she will be a stranger! That's right people. Over 90% that it will be a FAMILY member or close family friend. Wake up people and try being a responsible parent instead of an absent parent afraid of the world!

Well done...but Like the fact that it includes the photo of the "offender." However, I'd like to see more details regarding their crime.
Everyone, stop complaining about having to pay for the expanded version of this app. I don't know why people expect developers just to give apps away. If you thinks it might be of value.... Make a stink'n .99 cent contribution. That's a small price to pay!!! Most of us spend more than that for a cup of coffee.
Kudos to the developer. Has potential to be even better.

Free is to high a price This, the free, "lite" version of a commercial app, is slow, awkward, and unstable. I did get it to work -- once -- and it took ten minutes to do anything, on an iPhone 3GS no less. After that, it did nothing useful.And that one time? It showed the name and addresses of paroled offenders in the area, up to -- ten. Then it stopped. If you want more, you need to pay. Who says crime doesn't pay?

Pathetic This application is moronic and trades on fear and sensationalization.
In adddition, this version is meritless and confoundingly limited. The incredibly little functionality that us provided is taken away after the first use.

Total Garbage It won't even locate the 2 offenders on my street. Besides, I can do this for free and with a lot more accuracy on the computer. Even though this is free it's a waste of money.

Greeeeeaaattt This app is actually VERY legit. I knew of a sex offender that lives on my towns main street so I used this app to see how accurrate it was and it told me that sex offender plus 2 more! I drive on those streets often so it's nice to see who it actually is.
I would however like MORE THAN THREE listings and I DEF don't like how I have a day's limit of free searches.

Offender Locator Lite Very smart app. The world - and your neighborhood - is a very scary place. This app can be helpful to determine "bad seeds" in specific areas. GPS is spot on.
Didn't have a clue that my 'hood had so many offenders.

Inaccurate and misleading For those unaware: urinating in public puts you on this list. Therefore I submit to everyone reading that this entire system is misleading. I don't give half a crap if the guy down the street got drunk and urinated on a dumpster - post only convicted aggressive offenders or the system will always be unjust and disgustingly unfair to minor "offenders". Do what's right: refuse to support this foolish system.
