Wrong area. I live in Traverse City MI. The area it said I was in was Saginaw-Midland-Bay City which is about two hours from TC. Maybe it only works in bigger cities. I hit the location button multiple times to no avail. This app has potential, fix the location problems please!

Terrific...if You Have Griffin's Navigate This app complements Griffin's Navigate, an accessory which plugs into the dock connector and becomes a wired remote control and FM radio tuner (providing the same functionality as Apple's wired remote on click-wheel iPods). Why buy a Navigate when you can pick up FM stations with apps? It tunes local stations with higher quality, no drop-outs, and consumes a miniscule amount of battery power. I use it often.When the Navigate is attached, this makes selecting and tuning in available stations quicker and more direct than using the attachment. It also tells you what you'll be hearing on the station if you choose it.This app adds little to an iPhone if you don't have the Navigate accessory. If you do have it, this app integrates with the attachment very nicely.

Perfect in every way Why the negative reviews. This is a great program. I immediately deleted nabbit as soon as I realized that this program was so much quicker and better.

Fantastic. Finally a real-time playlist where you can buy music This is a No Brainer application that should have been available on car radios for the last 5 years. A way to buy a song that you hear on the radio with a single click. Every Lable's dream app. I already have the Griffin Navigator which is a great way to add FM to your iphone/ipod. I use it in the gym to tune into the monitors hanging all over. Just a great product and concept. (No, I don't have any affiliation with Griffin)

One of the most useful APPs! First off, this app is not about audio streaming. This app is about quickly locating music from local radio stations (GPS enabled) You can access song histories and detailed song information at a touch. This app is well conceived and very functional. Use it for 30 seconds to learn all about a song that played a few minutes ago... or use it all day to find the music you want to hear. Thanks for the wonderful APP!

This is great! I'm tired of reviews where the reviewer doesn't bother to read the description. This application does exactly what it claims, so far as I can tell: it shows you what's on the air right now. It might actually obsolete Shazam.What it's notably missing is a way to view all currently playing songs. I want to see a snapshot of what's on the air without drilling down into my favorite stations.It's also a little slow to refresh, but given that I have no idea how it does what it does, I'm not going to gripe too much about that.

Too freaking cool. It really works! I'm in the middle of nowhere right now, and it locked onto me immediately and is showing me the local stations from the closest big market. I was wondering on the drive in how I'd figure out the decent radio stations, and now I know for certain. Absolutely too freaking cool.

What's on the Radio, At A Glance! This app is great for seeing what's playing on radio stations in your area. It certainly is an improvement of RDS. :)It also works great with Griffin's Navigate remote. Tune to a radio station in the app, and it tunes the remote to that station.The only thing that is missing is support for radio stations broadcasting on the audio signal for TV channel 6 (87.7 MHz). There's a radio station where I live that broadcasts on that frequency. This little "blemish" doesn't affect the overall rating of this app though.For those of you that want to actually *listen* to radio broadcasts: unless you have a radio nearby, or the Navigate remote (See the web site for information on the remote), this isn't the app for you. If you do, go ahead and download it!

Great for finding what I'm looking for. Full disclosure: I work for Griffin. That said: Way useful when I travel. When I'm on the road, I use iFM to find where NPR is on the dial as well as whatever college radio I can get. Beats scanning up and down the dial.

Works great! I live in the Minneapolis/St Paul area, and get lots of stations. This app works great! Most of the stations provide music listings, and they are picked up by this program.
What's really cool is that even when you are on the page that lists all of the local stations, you can see what artist is playing on each one, AND that information is automatically updated when a new song begins, without my having to click any buttons to refresh the information. Now I can monitor a bunch of favorite stations while I am listening, without having to change stations! Great job, Griffin!
