This application connects your iPhone or iPod Touch to Yahoo! Answers which a community driven website that allows users to submit questions to be answered and answer asked questions from other users. There are over 100 million questions answered so whatever question is on your mind you're bound to find an answer for it.
Answers categorizes and displays the content from Yahoo! Answers in an iPhone & iPod Touch friendly interface, making searching, reading and scrolling very quick and easy.
Because of current restrictions in the Yahoo! API, you will not be able to login and ask or answer any questions. This feature is beyond our control and will be made available if Yahoo! allows it in the future. Please note, an internet connection is required on your device in order for this application to function.
Answers is powered by and uses the published Yahoo! Answers API. This application was built in accordance with the Yahoo! Answers API Terms & Conditions.

restrictions??? I think this is app is an excellent idea... but if there is still restictions limiting you from being able to ask or answer questions then the app loses value very quickly. Excellent! Awesome app! The interface/layout, beautiful and easy to navigate, make this app WELL WORTH 99 cents. Yes you can go to yahoo answers on the iPhone's safari for free but it's annoying having to navigate the site which isn't formatted for the iPhone (zooming, panning, clicking tiny links, etc...). Would not load up! I decided to download this and try it out. As soon as it loaded I tried opening it, it went to the main opening welcome page then it went back to the main iPhone screen. Good app Good app. Great UI! But missing three features that are keeping me from giving this app 5 stars.
1.) can't ask a question or answer a question.
2.) can't read in landscape mode

Great, But... It works perfectly and it's fast for my Internet connection, but I have a yahoo acount and I don't see why I shouldn't be able to ask and answer, so, can you add that? Crashed my iPhone I can't find a way to report this to Apple, but upon installing only this application on my non-jailbroken (or hacked) iPhone, none of my other apps would load. I uninstalled it off the phone, restarted my iPhone several times, and the problem persisted. Once again, I have never ever had this problem before and it had started after installing this App. (I was excited to see this on the store, so that's why I paid a buck for it). Nice, but... It's ok but I would seriously consider adding a login/ask feature and more importantly, all the answers not just the resolved questions with a best answer. Finally! At least it's a good start. Why am I not surprised that Yahoo! didn't come out with this one?Anyway, the interface is decent. It's nice to see icons for every single category. The back arrow is weirdish.The main problem with this application is that you cannot ask questions, you cannot vote, the search doesn't sort by date (in Yahoo! Answers, you just need to append &s=-date to the url after you search to sort), you cannot ANSWER questions...So this is correct in that it is a reference application...because you cannot do anything other than read questions and answers.But it's a good start! :) - Answers: powered by Yahoo! Answers or just spectators I agree indeed, that asking and answering questions is imperative; lacking this, we humble people are reduced to either being dismayed at the inability of answering, or logging onto thru safari, thereby defeating the apps primary purpose.
Also, the links, like in refrences, are unopenable, Whch is dosagreeable.
