The Best This is the absolute BEST Iphone Bible ever. All of the features are useful and allow for quick cross referencing. If there was an ebook reader with all of the features of Mantis, it would be dynamic. Please consider creating an ebook reader. I would be willing to pay for it. Thanks..

The Best The UI is outstanding with a well organized tool layout.Search>Tap>Bookmark>Highlight. It's all there.Bookmarks include Folders + Sub-folders!!! Very Cool.Full Screen Opt(no toolbars) for improved reading.The Large Keyboard(horizontal) is convenient when typing.Toggles: Strongs on/off/word (underline) - Red Letter on/off.Billy Graham is right, the Nave's Topical Bible is a must have.I also love the Chronological Reading plan.The wildcard search function(*) in the toolbar, would be nice.Thanks Mantis for creating the best Bible App.:o)

Great Bible app This is a fantastic Bible app that icludes my favorite Bible version the KJV. The notes feature is a great part of it and you can use it totally offline (I tried it in airplane mode) which is great. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are the appearence is very basic and not really flashy for an iphone app IMHO and that the verses are in paragraph form sometimes but other times in verse by verse form...psalms is verse by verse but other areas are paragraph. I personally like verse by verse more and would like to have that option. Over all a wonderful Bible app for iphone or iPod. Potentially what all true Bible students are looking for! This app has the potential to bring to the table what we've all been waiting for. Several translations, Strongs and other dictionaries with great features like notes - verse by verse, history, color coding, etc. I've talked with the developer and there's more to come i.e. commentaries, cross references, maps and more... Here's a big thumbs up! We are anxiously waiting for the new updated versions and I've been told it will be soon. Get it everyone! Oh, and please no grumbling if there's a cost. Absolutely Awesome This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I have used, and even paid, for some of the other bible apps for Iphone. Simply put, this is the most full featured app out there. Once you look at the layout and interface you will quickly see that their are many features that you don't even get on the paid for bible apps. This handheld bible/reader is an extremely powerful tool for pastors and people alike! In looking at the website, I can see that plenty of versions of the bible will be soon available including. A Great, Complete Bible App.! This is an awesome Bible app. Sure, you have to pay for additional versions; but as it's been said on here before, many of the popular translations cost the developer for the right to use them. In addition, to create the best software possible, the developers need the time and the manpower to make these apps the best they can be. Mantis Bible company puts in the time and the result is an awesome product that I use all the time. Also, their customer support is top notch. They are helpful, very friendly and respond quickly. It's so tiring to see the complaints about people charging for a Bible. In fact, if you don't understand why, it's just not worth the explanation...but to end on a positive note, don't hesitate to get this app and enjoy its. Makes the ITouch worth every penny! Re: version 3.1.0... I can't rave enough about this application. The interface is well designed and easy to use. However, the way content is integrated is a key highlight for me. I currently use the NASS (NAS with Strong's numbering). Each word is hyperlinked to the definition that allows me to instananeously see the meaning and usage at will. This is great tool for serious study. I used to have to have open several books and flip back and forth. Now, one small handheld delivers me everything I need. Sometimes I read the Bible just to read...to stay connected to the big picture, and other times I want to dig deep. This application allows me to do both easily. I also appreciate being able to turn down time (waiting for appointments or in lines) into an opportunity to study God's Word. Lastly, this app will be very helpful during group Bible study times. I don't keep all of my reference material in our living room so this will allow us to more quickly delve more deeply in our discussion times. Best Bible Application Available I used to love Bible Reader from Olivetree because of the many possibilities we had to choose from different Bibles and Commentary resources. That was when I had a PocketPC but since I have an ipod touch now, I have been looking for the same experience. Unfortunately, Bible Reader now is a bundled application you can not customize to your liking as it used to be in the PocketPC days. That's the beauty of Mantis Bible Study software. You buy according to your budget and desire. The application works superb. It's amazing how I can really study the Bible in an ipod, write notes and get ready for my Sunday Sermon anywhere in the world where my iPod Touch can go with me. Hands down the best Bible for iPhone! This is the best Bible for iPhone I've ever used. A must have if you want a good off-line Bible. Almost Perfect (needs highlighting) This app is really cool, especially the notes feature (which is a lot better than my premium bible app that I paid for).
I also love the ability to look at your bible reading history as well.
The only thing missing is the ability to highlight verses (which I hope you will add in various colors).
Aside from that, this app is just about perfect!
