Your Rights - Cyrus Najmabadi
If government agents question you, it is important to understand your rights. You should be careful about what you say when approached by law enforcement officials. If you give answers, they can be used against you in a criminal, immigration, or civil case.
'Your Rights' provides effective and useful guidance in a user-friendly question and answer format. The application addresses what rights you have when you are stopped, questioned, arrested, or searched by law enforcement officers. This booklet is for citizens and non-citizens with extra information for non-citizens in a separate section.
'Your Rights' tells you about your basic rights. It is not a substitute for legal advice. You should contact an attorney if you have been arrested or believe that your rights have been violated.
The information presented have been obtained from the ACLU and also includes detailed information on the ACLU as well as numerous court cases that they have been involved with over the years. Cyrus Najmabadi

This is a Good App!   It is important for people to know their rights. What a great application. Everyone needs to protect their rights. Even criminals have rights in this country, although some people forget that. We can't keep everyone from knowing their rights because we're afraid one of them might be a terrorist! "Terrorists" should know their rights too.

Incredible app   I've wanted the constitution at my fingertips for awhile now so it's worth it just for that-- and the supreme court cases are very informative. I probably won't use much of the other information on there but it's nice to have.

No Thanks   The application more or less does what it says. Basically, you have a right to remain silent. If you need an app to tell you that then go ahead and download. I don't agree with ACLU's stand on the 2nd Amendment, so that pretty much sealed the deal. They choose to stay out of it because the Supreme Court said it can be regulated. Of course it can be regulated, so can the 1st Amendment, yet they choose to protect it. Skinheads and Nazis receive ACLU protection when their rights are breached, yet law abiding gun owners don't? Putting that right there in the app did it for me and out it goes.

Let's all be ignorant of our rights   This is a great program. Kudos to Cyrus. Thank you for providing a source of information for US citizens and non-citizens in case of interrogation and question. Remember everyone: the US law enforcement agency isn't infallible. We need to know our rights!

An important and well-written app   "Your Rights" is a great source of information about our rights as well as about the ACLU. The Q & A is great, but I love that it goes beyond that to include the Constitution (and amendments) and a section called "ACLU 100 Greatest Hits" which provides information about notable cases that the ACLU has been involved in, giving additional insight into how our rights have changed over time. There is a brief synopsis of each case as well as a link to Wikipedia for more information. The only suggestion I have for this would be to give the user the option to open pages in the mobile version of Wikipedia by default.I love this app!

It's important!   Know the rights you're given! This app does a great job at this and offers a huge range of subjects that EVERYONE and ANYONE can be interested, from what exactly freedom of speach means and other rights that should be exercised. A little glitchey in the aclu news section but that won't make me drop down to a 4 star ;)

Good app.   Lose the bigotry. Protecting these rights and making sure they are enforced is exactly the foundation of the strength our system over others.

Everyone needs this App.   The fact that we have overthrown the dictatorship that brought our nation to the brink of self-destruction is no reason to think our liberties are not threatened, not by a long shot. Freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, religious freedom are still under attack, and always will be, as long as human beings desire power. Cyrus, you've done an important public service. I'm making sure my kids read this. Thank you.

Excellent educational app   The ACLU does a lot of good work and while I don't align with them on every single issue their overall mission as a supporter and protector of every American's rights has had a real and tangible benefit for everyone, whether they are aware of it or not. Great information and easy to access layout.

Let Freedom Ring!   Everyone should know their rights. This app makes it easy. It also gives a brief summary of how the ACLU protects our rights (except for the Second Amendment for some reason). Includes a history of important court cases with links to Wikipedia. - Your Rights review by Staka Lee
Is this a real Screen Shot?   Hard to take an app seriously when the screenshot shows "Law Enforement" instead of Law Enforcement. I am not sure that the advice could be counted upon seeing that the app was rushed to market so fast that spell checking wasn't used. - Your Rights review by Razorbuck
Vote early, vote often   This is a great app, because it is the knowledge and exercise of our rights that keeps us free. - Your Rights review by Bashwell

Amazing and informative app! A must for everyone!   This has amazing information about the rights of US citizens. How can we protect ourselves from abuse if we don't know about our protections?
To say that this app protects terrorists is ridiculous. Sorry but that's how the US works. We have a system of rights for the people that the government cannot violate. We have due process of law that whenever there is a criminal or civil case.
It is important for people to learn their rights, and Im glad that this app exists. - Your Rights review by Raugustus
