The best of the bunch This is one of my most used and favorite apps. Excellent data entry system and great stats info. Easy to use but powerful, this is a true winner.

Good support I encountered a problem exporting data from Road Trip to put into a spreadsheet. (I keep a spreadsheet displayed for use in preparing taxes.) Mr. Stone answered my email personally and worked on the problem for several email exchanges until the problem was solved. I was impressed.

Best so far Tried a few others. Gas Cubby is next best. GC has better graphing, but I like the interface of Road Trip better, and the summary data it calculates for you is the clincher. Actually, the graphs in GC are more extensive, but the fact you can set a custom report date range in Road Trip is really necessary and so more important. I've used both, but settled on this one as it showed me the historical data I wanted and GC did not.

Yup. This is a Good One I have tried (and bought) just about every mileage/gas tracker in the iTunes store. This one (and Gas Cubby) are the best. Road trip may have the edge because input is a breeze and a pleasure. Car Care had potential but its interface and input is a nightmare. Road trip has a great interface. The inputs are to scale. No cumbersome dials. And the data it provides is clear and useful. This is a keeper I bought or downloaded almost every vehicle mileage-tracking app available. Gas Cubby was the only other one I liked because it used a number pad for fast data entry. I really wanted to stay with Gas Cubby because it was easy to use, but I couldn't upload several years and vehicles' worth of legacy data into that program, and a long-promised upgrade to do that just hasn't materialized.Enter Road Trip and the online import function. After a bit of trial-and-error getting my data into shape, I was finally able to get 10 vehicles into Road Trip yesterday. The interface here is easy to use, elegant, and attractive (like the rich purple background), and there's lots of information and calculations available after you get the data in. And I like that I can export every once in a while to keep a copy in case my iPod goes down or vanishes like my old Palm did. It would be nice if the developer would improve on the import/export instructions and interface a bit, but it did work.I'm very pleased here and don't think I'll go back to Gas Cubby any time soon. - Road Trip • MPG, Mileage and Fuel Economy review by tleed
Best of Category With this app, I finally retired my fuel book. It does all the same things and more, while taking less time per entry. My data imported from a spreadsheet as advertised. Tried the free version and liked the interface so much I bought the full version. If there is a feature you would like that is reasonable (distance per fill-up), the developer is friendly and open to suggestions (distance per fill-up now incorporated). Awesome app This app is on my "Page 1" which I reserve for my most-used/favorite apps... I'm naturally a penny-pincher that itemizes out every single one of my charges on my credit card, etc., so this app is a Godsend in terms of being able to closely monitor my gas charges. I also use the data from this app to alert me if there is anything wrong with my car... if I see a relatively big drop in gas mileage, then it's usually due to needing oil, or air in my tires, etc.In terms of improvement, I think it would be sweet if we were able to tag gas stations using GPS for the "More info" tab, but that's just me being picky. Nicely accomplished I travel.... Alot and this app well, the free version that is (haven't used the full version yet). It has made my calculations a breeze. This app has alot of potential. Seeing how it tracks your gas mileage and even calculates how much it costs per mile traveled. Then it also keeps a record of maintenance. Another Great App I just purchased this app and I think it’s great! There is one key feature I hope gets implemented in future updates. A maintenance reminder for like an Oil Change at a user specified mileage like every (3,000 miles). A reminder that will pop up and let you know your oil change is due when it comes close to the mileage. That is one key feature that is very important to me. I have 7 Vehicles I keep track of and this would make life a lot easer for myself and others I’m sure. I love the way the app is set up for the gas fill up entries. I found this app out does all of them that I have tried in the app store. Not to mention the great job that is done on the graphic design and all the stats on the same page. Extremely easy to read and a awesome looking design. I really hope you implement the maintenance reminder in the future.. The Greatest I downloaded Road Trip Lite and after using it just a few days I decided I HAD to have the full version. You will not be disappointed if you buy this program. It is so easy to input data and the statistics are great. Personally, I don't travel to other countries, but the easy method of switching from gallons to liters is great for those who do. Tracking maintenence, milage, and road trips in one elegant interface is great!! Works great and great customer service At first I couldn't get this app to work but after multiple emails with the developer he descovered I was leavin the gallons and gallons/$ fields empty. I had thought they were merely option fields and not ones you type in. Now that I know this the app works great and I'm glad I kept all those gas receipt. Very nice program for version 1.0 Very impressed with this initial release. It has, in my opinion, the best-looking interface and presents a large amount of data on a single screen in an easy to understand presentation. Data entry is simple and concise, and I have had an easier time entering some historical fuel data than with some of the other programs on here. I gave it a 4 only because it was missing a couple of fields I like to track as well (Location of gas purchase (Store/City) and Octane), however there is a Notes entry section that can hold that data...I'd just like it as a separate data field for exporting purposes.Wow! Great app overall The application is great. The only thing I would request is service reminders. It would be great if you could enter the service frequencies reccomended by the dealer and have a reminder pop up when it's due. Could Be The Car Application Great App! I love the approach of bringing together the car maintance and trip reporting features in one app. With a few extra features in the "Road Trip" section it could be "the definitive car app" and replace my current app duo of "Car Care" & "Trip Cubby".
1. Frequent trips selection top speed data entry for trips taken on a frequent basis (see CarCubby)
2. Category of trip so one can classify the trip as personal or various business purposes.

Great App - Great Support I had an issue with V1.1 import of data in CSV format and Darren got back to me inside of 1 hour.
