Great Program Fantastic Notes Ap... I bought it looking for a program for Journaling, but have found that this is perfect for A TON of other things. I locked it on my tool bar because I use it for: recording quick notes throughout the day (so I can access them and file 'em later) via the 'post its'; keeping detailed records of the day's events (meetings, client calls, etc.) which can also be broken apart and placed into different folders. I'd say that I use this ap nearly as much as my daily planner and have NO major complaints. The only features I'd really consider improvements would be: 1) Get crackin' on the passwords for individual folders (brilliant idea - much better than one password for the whole program)! and 2) let users import graphics for icons for folders - You don't need to create any more, just let us access our photos page to pick 'em. By FAR one of the most COMPLETE aps I've bought on here. For anyone serious about being able to take important note or journaling, this is a MUST HAVE! Thank you BRID!

Great for Notes/Google Sync Useless I bought this app specifically because I wanted the ability to edit my notes on my PC and sync them seamless back and forth between my iPhone & my PC; like OneNote on Windows Mobile. Awesome Note is by far the BEST note taking app I have ever used but if you're looking for an app that allows you to EDIT NOTES on your PC/Mac & SYNC them with your iPhone, this isn't for you. Syncing does work, but it is CLUNKY and creates duplicates. GoogleDocs does not recreate any folders you've created in the app so your notes are not organized online. Importing a note you've edited in GoogleDocs places it into an invisible "import" folder & you can only access your imported note through the "All Notes" folder. No formatting like bold/italics applied when editing your notes in GoogleDocs will show up in your imported note either. You then need to move the imported note into the proper folder which promptly creates a duplicate. This app is awesome for note taking, but until it has a desktop app to edit/sync notes it has a long way to go.

Love the new task management features. Simple, smart and elegantly done.
Now can combine notes and todos in one app. Integration is good.
Now your Todos have never looked so good.
A few more useful features like photo attachments and full google docs sync are coming in future update according to website.
I put my vote in for some possible future enhancements ...
Clickable urls in notes/todos (data detection)
Selection of plain pastal color backgrounds (yellow, blue, green, violet, etc.)
Bulleted / Numbered lists
Calendar view for tasks by due date
Word Count of text
Flagged notes / todos and be able to sort by them
Home button on every view
Sub-folders (and be able to view contents of from inside a parent folder)
Trash can for deleted notes (extra level of protection)
Push notifications for items with due dates.
That may be a tall order I know, but thought I'd throw them out there as ideas for future updates.
Awesome Notes currently owns one of the spots on my bottom bar. And it's freed up one because it combines two apps in one -- note and todo.
Great job on this 2.0 update!

AwesomeNote is a great app and quite a functional and good looking notebook.
Few features ...
Search.
Creation date of note -- in addition to modification date.
Comment: If you open a note and click anywhere it updates the modification date, which is fine but there's no way of knowing when a note was created without manually typing in that info. As is, if sorting by date you are only going to see notes at top that were modified yesterday - even if they were created over a month ago.
Also, once creation date is available - allow us to modify it manually. Several apps allow this, like Momo and other journaling apps.
Clickable URLs in notes.
Tags for further classifying notes.
Lastly, a calendar view would also be welcomed - a cross reference of all notes created by day.

Great App! Have some requests... I am so thankful for this app! I just got it and I can already tell I'll get my money's worth. If you have a lot of todos to keep track of, this is a wonderful filing system. The long keyboard is really helpful too.
Here are some requests I have if at all possible:
- subfolders within folders.
- allow us to create notes with voice recordings, so if I am in the car I don't have to type a reminder to pay bills or something but it's still filed away under my "ToDo" folder.
- alarm clock or text reminder system
- hyperlink .coms so I can go straight to the link from the note.
If these things don't get changed it definitely won't keep me from using it, they would just be really helpful :)

Awesome App! I kept passing up Awesome Note because of the price. However, I can't even tell you how many 99¢ note apps, to-do apps, and organizer apps I wasted my money (and time) on before finally just buying Awesome Note. This app does it all and more and it does it in style. Can't wait for the new goodies BRID has in store for us! Awesome Note is a "1st Home Page" app. (And it's so easy to use!!!)Update for the new update (2.0): This is truly the best app in the app store. If, for some weird reason, I was told I could only keep one app on my iPod Touch, this would be THE ONE!!! It's all that AND a bag of chips! Thank you BRID.

Surprisingly worth it When I bought this, I was a little skeptical. More than a buck for something the iPhone already does? Well, the iPhone dies come with a memo app, but it doesn't do even a fraction of what this app does. I'd like to see more icons/ability to use photo album pics, more "paper backgrounds" and folder colors, but the developer seems to be constantly upgrading and the great UI makes writing on the iPhone (almost) a pleasure. What are you waiting for? 5-stars.

Great Application... But... I would have given this application 5 stars but it's missing a couple of things: 1) Desktop Sync; I want to be able to back up all my notes just in case I loose my phone, 2) More Icons for new folders; not really that big of a deal, but it would really make this a 5 star app if there were more Icons and more of a variety of themes. It would also be really cool if I could add my own photo as a background for this app. I'll update my review if these issues are addressed in the next update.

The.Best.Note.App.Evar This brilliant app allows for many notes to be taken and categorized into folders. Quick one touch note taking is available as well as traditional write and file notes. Individual notes can be secured, so privacy is protected. Synchs with Google Docs. And the App is absolutely gorgeous. This is made like an Apple app and should be the default note app for your iPhone or iPod Touch. 5 stars.

Speedy, Slick and Super It's about time we got a full featured note app that realizes the importance of jotting a note as quickly as possible then organizing later.
This is a monster of note taking, organization an customization and the clearheaded backup to Google Docs with real formatting (ahem, Notebook).
I am keeping all my noted for a script in here plus novel pages.
With the ability to import from google docs as well you can edit your piece on the go.
Almost perfect...ok so I'm greedy but I would love more backgrounds and skins. How about a Moleskine redesign?

Thumbs up! Update: Version 2.0 just increase the 'awesome'ness. It adds To Do, remembers your folder settings, badge on the icon and default font/note design per folder! Honestly, i can now delete my To Do app and save one space in the Home Page for something else. Awesome Note is a great note app and To Do list. Two app in one with great eye candy. Go get it!
Original: One look at the screenshot and you know you have a winner in both design and polished app category. What you don't know is that this app is easy to use and Fast! Startup is fast. Entering notes is lightning fast (I'm using a 3G iPhone)! Kudos!! Easily worth the $4 I paid.

Boxes to check items off needed I liked the idea of being able to organize my lists, which is why I bought the app. I am disappointed. Even with my small fingers, I founds the buttons really hard to us in the wide screen format. I also couldn't make a list with boxes to check off? What's the point of pretty, organized lists if you can't check tasks off as they are finished??

my favorite app Partially why I wanted a smartphone was because I wanted a phone that I could type my journal entries in so that they're always close at hand. This is the best app for me. Plus there will be an update with password lock so that's even better! I never write reviews so you know it's good. It looks good, is customizable (to an extent) and AWESOME.

Maybe it's just me Look, I think the application probably works nice, there seems to be a lot of people that like it, but for me, I can't get by the cheesy "themes" that are forced on you. All I want is a clean screen, white, with black type. You can't get that with this program, so for those that have always thought at "To-Do" program with a leopard print theme is what they have always dreamed of, this is your program. Again, I know that we should be rating a program by how it works, and I'm sure this one works nicely, but if it doesn't offer the option of a clean format then for me, it does not work.By the way, I did email the company asking if there was a way to get to a clean white screen to type my notes on and never heard back from the company.

This is awesome! Wow! I've bought many, many notes applications looking for the best one. This is it. The Quick Memo feature is a quick way to have up to four sticky notes - if you need more than four, just save one into another folder, for instance ToDo. Quick memo is just that; a quick, easy way to get a thought down. The folders approach to regular notes is great. The folder icons look good, with four color choices, and they look like, well, folders. And each note can have a different typeface and type size - another plus. There's no sync capability, which would be nice, but not required. Perhaps a future enhancement? In all, my congratulations for a great app.

Awesome Note is Awesome I was looking for a notepad with better organizational options then the standard notes- and WOW did I find it! It even has the functionality for quick notes that I can file later! Other great features are the "post it" notes GUI interface, multiple themes for each note, fonts, and widescreen layout for easier typing of long notes! It truly is awesome!
