Perfect companion for texting! Really great - simple interface, auto copies the snippet you select, then paste it. Great for quick txts like 'wanna meet for happy hour at Joe's?' or for standard replies like 'i'll see you after school'... Would be better if the iPhone already had this built in. Works well.

Great This app is really cool. It's like having a super clipboard on your iPhone where you can save alot of text snippets. I would like to see picture snippets and other stuff you can copy also being included, not just text. But this is a great app for version 1.0 and def worth 99 cents.

Useful and helpful as long as you understand the apple limitations Like the app (wish apple would allow background integration to the clipboard for some apps like this one where it make perfect sense)
Does what it says it will do. Saves all the select/drag/copy/paste action I was doing with a long series of often used text items I had in notepad. This is is easier.
Hope the deb can add the ability to copy paste images in future as well as integration with the macs clipboard via wifi.
Great little tool, easily worth the price.
As to the negative coments I'd ignore them since the users either don't understand the apple imposed limitation on background app function or they did not read the aps description prior to purchase.

Snippets Rocks Keeps what I need to repeatedly enter close at hand. Easy to use and organize. My wish is that it could somehow stay "resident" in memory and replace a typed sequence with the desired text string. Eg .address would be replaced with my postal address. A tool beyond measure if that were attainable.

Much faster than Notes If you find yourself typing the same things over and over, Snippets can really save time. Can you copy and paste from Notes? Sure, but it's not organized and it's slow, and I prefer having a special place to keep my clipboard caps that is separate from my notes (though I use Evernote but hey). I dig it!!

You could just use notes... This needs some work. The idea of saving copied text to repurpose elsewhere is great, but closing an app to open another and then going back to the first app to add text? Not ideal or very useful in a lot of cases. Sure, it's great for canned answers and information you know you'll need before entering an app, but if I'm in the middle of typing something out and want to use saved text from this app, closing out to get it would be problematic at best.If this could be integrated in some way that would allow another option to appear next to the paste command, you would have a really winner of an app here. You could also charge more than .99 (which is too much to pay for this).

Great idea -- but incomplete. I love the *idea* of this app, and I'm finding it quite useful -- but it needs polish. (Unfortunately, the "support" link leads to a generic app page with absolutely *no* contact info for the developer. This doesn't exactly make a good impression, let alone engender trust in the developer.)Suggestions:1. As I use the app more and more, I'm realizing I'd like to categorize my snippets differently -- but there's no way to rename categories! They can only be created or deleted. This is a monumental oversight.2. As above, I'd sometimes like to be able to move a snippet from one category to another -- but again, there's no way to do so.3. Although automatically displaying snippets in alpabetical order may seem logical, it becomes unwieldy as soon as you have more than, say, 10 snippets in a category. We need more display options -- such as "Display Newest Snippets at Top." (And the display options should be configurable *per* category -- not globally.4. We should also be able to freely reorder snippets -- and categories -- in any way we choose. (Think of the iPhone's "Favorites" page in the contact list. You tap Edit, then drag the items into any order you like. *That* is how Snippets should work.5. This is of lower priority, of course, but I'd love to see a more attractive icon. I love the simplicity of the paper clip! But the (lack of) color scheme is boring. Just changing the background color to a muted blue or taupe would help bring it to life. :-)BOTTOM LINE: While Snippets accomplishes its basic task nicely, there absolutely MUST be better snippet *management*. Otherwise, its purposes -- productivity and convenience -- are ultimately defeated. I don't need the app to do a million things; i simply want it to do this *one* thing *better*.

Don't waste your money Bought this after I read a review from Twau. All this is is a repository of text you will want to paste into another app. You have to launch snippets to copy want you want to paste then run your app. How about using the notepad to copy from. It's free

Great for saving common phrases and stuff in a hierarchical database Snippets lets you do more than just keep notes.
You can organize things in any categories you choose and then you have quick access to copy them FAST whenever you need them.
You don't have to hold down and tap and drag and select some words like you need to do in other apps.
Try it, you'll like it!
