Outstanding Without a doubt the BEST IRC client for the iphone yet. Impressive feature list for its initial release, easy to use right off the bat and by far has the best design and layout than any other irc client for the iPhone to date.

More like a desktop client This is by far the best irc client on iPhone or any mobile platform. It is a full featured client supporting all irc commands I have tried. It auto registers me with nickserv on servers where that is supported. But this is the first client that makes it easy to track multiple chat rooms at once.
The user interface is very usable. I bought rooms and colloquy and have since uninstalled both. I think this is worth it even if you already own those other ones.

This app gives me GOOSEBUMPS! For an entire day now I've been looking at this app, trying to decide whether or not to get it. It looked to be SUPER cool, but I wasn't sure I'd like IRC on my iPhone, being used to a desktop client where I can type fast and see lots at once. Well, I caved and bought it. What a dream! Not 1000% perfect yet, but it'll get there with updates. The UI is sweet, to say the least. And, to my very pleasant surprise, it is actually quite fun to use IRC on a mobile device.One minor warning ... if you don't already know how to use IRC, downloading Flowchat might not be the best way to start (like most iPhone apps, there is no help in the app). I'd suggest downloading a free IRC desktop client, creating a nickname and getting used to how IRC works. Once you've got the basics down, I think you'll find Flowchat to be very intuitive. This app is fun and rather amazingly awesome. Very much worth the price of admission. Kudos to the developers!

The only mobile IRC you'll ever need. I have been looking for a half way decent IRC client for this platform for sometime now, and been very disappointed until I found FlowChat. This is no doubt a FULL function client with features that rival some desktop clients. Packaged into a very well designed and intuitive interface this application is easy to use for users of all skill levels. All you have to do is read all of the other reviews to know that this application delivers everything a mobile IRC user could need. If you have any need for mobile IRC at all, this application is worth every penny and more. FlowChat delivers the total IRC experience. It is obvious that an enormous amount of time and attention to detail went into this app. This is an uncommonly amazing first release.

doesn't work w/ some irc servers (or maybe host setups) unhappy w/ freenode. haven't poked too hard w/ what freenode is unahppy about (ie, tcpdump capture), but back to colloquy for me.

Excellent IRC App Best interface for an IRC app I've seen yet (and I have a couple of others). Love the ability to monitor multiple rooms on one screen. Gesture support is nice. Definitely worth the money.

Desktop Client in the pocket I tried out quite a few IRC clients on the appstore and all of them were missing things and just didnt feel right. When I saw this new one and heared about all the hype I was a little skeptical at first, but BOY AM I HAPPY I tried it out. This little app feels like I am using a full desktop client with even more features. It can even do /weather and /system ... ON THE IPHONE. Its amazing. I can quickly switch between channels and see activity at one glance.Features like autocomplete make chatting and connecting to people on IRC especially easy. There is NOTHING I am missing on this client and its totally worth the price. Its the beejive of IRC, but costs way less. If you are looking for the perfect IRC client, dont waste your money on all the other crappy ones. Learn from my mistake and buy this one. 10 Stars from me.

Missing the Simple Things I thought this client would be better than Colloquy or Rooms. But in the end I keep turning back to Colloquy. Why does anyone want logging on a mobile client, and no option to disable it? I don't care much for the all black interface either, it dosen't feel like an iPhone application.

Nice app but does crash I read like 20 reviews on here saying it never crashes and I'm wondering if they are kidding because it has crashed evrytime I use it. Not a big deal since I use it with psyBNC but a minor annoyance
Other than that this app is really nice, love the fact it has sound notifications on pm, something all irc apps lack
I still use this app over others I own because of the sound, even though it does crash occasionally. If the crashing would stop it would be perfect.
This app and colloquy are the two best for irc on iPhone. I use flowchat more because of the sound

Stick with Colloquy for now I'm running flowchat on an iPhone 3GS, and it repeatedly crashes. Whereas flowchat's feature set is much deeper than Colloquy's, that's a moot point if the base functionality of the app isn't working.
Also, couple things lacking:
-Ability to post images to sites other than imageshack (picpaste, anyone?)
-URL bar in browser
