Glaring problem that probably doesn't affect you!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I love this app, and I love how I can sync it with iCal, but after upgrading to version 2 its usefulness to me was immediately nullified by the fact that syncing the new version with iCal requires a version of Appigo sync that hasn't been released yet. WTF? Epic fail. I'm sure they'll fix it soon enough, but I paid for this and use it every day, so this oversight is not the kind of thing that should be happening. Also, their website is not up-to-date. - Version 2.0 - Apr 27, 2009 - Todo review by NReilingh
Now the best to do app on the store  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I've been waiting patiently for the to do app that does everything I need. Even with the many apps available, and the many I tried, all were lacking something. My own personal list of "things I want in a to do app" are finally met with the newest version.- Ability to check off items right in the main view list (many to do apps make you drill down to the item to mark them complete)- Keyword tagging- Subtasks or projects (finally added in the latest version, woo-hoo!)- contexts- recurring tasks (very helpful in forming habits, in addition to simply easier entry of things you have to do often). Todo has great recurring tasks, letting you choose many intervals, and whether the new recurrence starts after the due date or completion date.- Syncing - it syncs to iCal with their free software, so you don't have to have yet another program. In addition to these, Todo has other great features and usability I didn't even think of.- Different types of tasks, like "email", "call", "visit location", "visit web address". These let you tap the item and get action - either launching Mail, Maps, Phone, etc. depending on the type.- The new version has "List" type, so in addition to projects/sub-tasks, you can easily create check off lists, such as grocery shopping, packing lists, etc.- And much more...It's easy to use, it's now feature complete, in my opinion it's now the best in the store, I don't need to use multiple apps or fudge around with them to make them actually work for me. I have tried many of them, and This is the one. Finally! - Version 2.0 - Apr 27, 2009 - Todo review by Trout
Goldilocks of todo apps  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
For version 1.2, this app rocks. I call it the Goldilocks of todo apps because it has just the right amount features without skimping and you don't need to be an engineer to use it. The home screen icon tells you what is due today, reminding you to look to see what needs to be done if you place the icon on your front screen. This may find it's way to the bottom row icons. One thing I'd like to see added is auto save. If I edit something, then back out of the edit screen it should save my edit. Hitting SAVE on every screen is a minor annoyance, and I've lost entries by forgetting to hit SAVE. I'd also like to see an alarm feature added as well for appointments with customizable (ring tones?) alarms. Syncing with toodledo has been flawless and I like this interface better than tooledo's web interface. Google calendar has a widget for this as well but it doesn't seem to remember me and have to log in each time, but it's certainly not a deal breaker since the iPhone UI is really all you need. Apple should include this app in version3 and this review will get the 5th star if I see the features I mentions above in the next release. - Version 1.2 - Sep 23, 2008 - Todo review by ItsDarts
Super, look and feel of Apple apps  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I am a to do list junky and this is the best one I've seen. It is easy to use, syncs almost instantly with a free toodledo account I set up for desktop, and it is EASY to input tasks. It is $10 but it is worth it. Only missing function for me is ability to input repeat tasks but it is in the new update that is working its way through the system. I am so happy with my 1st gen iPhone with Todo, I decided to forget about the 3G. The app looks and feels like it was written by Apple. - Version 1.0.1 - Jul 28, 2008 - Todo review by ralphdaily
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I was a toodledo user and was hesitant to pay for a "ToDo" application. After looking through the details and seeing the synchronization with toodledo and outlook (via free 3rd party tool), I wanted to try it out. This is something I've been waiting for on the iphone for quite a while. It makes my day to day task management much easier and I always have it with me (even if I don't have cell/internet coverage). I would recommend this to anyone. It is definately worth $10. Money well spent. - Version 1.2 - Sep 10, 2008 - Todo review by Jawman
The best way to stay connected to your tasks!   Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
If you're asking yourself, "How is this app different from the other To-Do apps and why's it worth $9.99..?" I'll tell you how; - It syncs perfectly with Toodledo (and Remember the Milk, but I use Toodledo). - When you're in a location with limited Edge / 3g connectivity, you can still access and edit all your tasks. - Although the Toodledo web app for the iPhone is very good, Todo makes editing and adding tasks twice as fast - Todo completes my entire task workflow: ----> In the car: Call Jott, say "Toodledo", say your task, and hang up. ----> On the computer: Using the Toodledo firefox plugin, highlight something, right-click & send to toodledo. ----> Anywhere else, add it to Todo. - I've been with Toodledo for almost a year now - since I got my iPhone - & Todo + Toodledo is the best combination for my life that I've found. (I've tried OmniFocus, Things, Entourage (tasks), Life Balance, Chandler, Mind Manager, Next Action, iGTD, TaDa, Backpack, Basecamp, and Vitalist... ) - Todo review by Scott
Short and Looooong  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
*** Short Version ***Appigo Todo = just enough. Others = too much, yet still lacking.Minus one star till they implement Search.*** Long Version **** Of Knives and NA’s *As a kid, I always lusted after Swiss Army knives. What an incredible array of features! What a clever maximization of space! But every combination knife I ever bought eventually languished in a drawer; too little length on the knives, too little leverage on the tweezers and corkscrew, too much gunk built up on the plastic toothpick. If you never had this problem (and you don't need Windows support), then go with an OmniFocus-centric approach to your GTD.As an adult, my favorite knife is...a knife! I revel in the versatility and precision of my simple Henckels cook's knife. The blade is long, precise and easy to maintain, and the handle affords a comfortable and firm grip. If, like me, you prefer using high-quality, simple tools rather than complicated combo-tools, then Appigo's Todo should hit the spot!* OmniFocus, iGTD, and even Things *The Holy Grail of GTD is a single tool for idea Collection, Processing, Organizing, Reviewing, and Doing. This mythical cup can turn email into Next Actions, can hyperlink every type of data to a Project or Next Action, and fluidly transforms brainstorming and planning notes directly into Context-sorted Next Actions. And, like the Holy Grail of legend, the search for the cup can consume one’s life. After more than a year of searching in vain for GTD perfection, I’ve finally come full circle to the realization that the true Grail is inside me. At first I thought of the Prophet’s† instruction to empty my head as meaning that my brain’s only function in the system should be idea generation. Now I think of my brain (and my habits) as the ultimate hyperlinker; the glue that unifies my system. Instead of searching for a digital brain, I’ve now turned my attention to finding elegantly simple tools for my real brain to use as needed.* Bad Habits *The biggest failures of every GTD-based app I’ve tried are due to insufficient attention to two of David Allen’s precepts: 1) Keep hard boundaries on the elements of your system, 2) Perfect your habits, not your tools. I.e., don’t let endless system fiddling prevent you from getting on with your life. For example (#1), complex GTD apps tend to make it really easy to change bits of Project planning into Next Actions. This might be ideal for the mentally-disciplined, but this tends to make me get careless so that I end up staring at supposed Next Actions like, “Send in Acme forms,” and thinking, “Wait, I need to print them first (@Work) then fill them out, then get an envelope and stamps (@Home) and take them to the post office (@Errands).” In other words, my Next Action lists turn into a mix of true N.A.’s and hidden Projects. That kind of thing really kills one’s Doing zen.As for endless fiddling (#2), I find myself all too easily wooed into playing with bells and whistles. OmniFocus took days of my life, with little actual Doing getting done. Things was easier, but still too much. Ditto for Remember the Milk, iGTD, etc. Still, I yearned for that Holy Grail up until the day before I discovered Todo.* Appigo Todo: Back to GTD Basics *Yes, the day _before_ I discovered Todo I decided to go back to basics. Rather than the Swiss Army approach to GTD, I decided to find a nice Henckels blade: a fast, simple, effective list keeper. The cornerstone of my new, relaxed system is 2 clearly distinct types of lists in Todo: Projects and Next Actions. With no place for non-“next” Actions, I’m no longer tempted to think in terms of strings of Next Actions, and this frees me up to concentrate on the Now.Mind you, I still plan ahead. Small projects in Todo occasionally have little not-to-forget details in the Notes field. Larger projects get brainstormed and planned on paper, or in MindMeister, but there’s near-zero temptation for me to hubristically assume that any of said planning constitutes a list of future Next Actions. Consequently, my Next Action lists are truly Next Actions, and I find that I _have to_ review all my Projects frequently in order to keep my Next Action lists populated. For me, Todo’s strength lies in its limitations and its solidity. It doesn’t distinguish between different types of lists: there’s just Lists and Tasks. Once you realize that Tasks are really just “items”, you can easily create whatever types of lists you need, and keep the boundaries between those types firm. Importantly, these two elements—lists and items—are given equal value in the UI; it’s equally easy to create, edit, and delete lists as it is to do the same with items. And, of course, one’s data can be backed‡‡ up for free to Toodledo (or for a fee to RTM). All this contributes to the feeling of solidity, which in turn contributes to a sense of trust. And we all know how important it is for one’s system to be _trusted_!* For what it’s worth... *Here’s how I’m using Todo. The # is just to sort “Waiting For” to the top.NEXT ACTION LISTS: "# Waiting For", "@Home", "@Errands", "@Theresa", "@Email/Phone", "@iMac", "@Online"PROJECT LISTS: "* Current Projects", "* Remodel Projects", "* Someday Projects"CHECKLISTS: “} Reconciling Finances”, “} 2-per-Year Home Mtnc”Wow. Thanks for sticking out all 964 words of this review!† David Allen, of course.‡ My interpretation, but I think D.A.’d agree.‡‡ Because Toodledo is so feature-bloat…er…rich, I consider it more of a backup than a usable Todo companion. - Todo review by clozach
a great To Do application at its initial release  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
this was definitely the To Do app i was looking for. before you buy...if you want a better idea of how it works, check out the great video demo on their website. mademe go "WOW!" and purchase it immediately. the items that sold me were:- integration with online services for syncing. few other to-do lists apps here can do that.- address book integration. well done.- custom strikeouts -- how fun is that!it's also rather intuitive, usable and very "iPhone-like". i think there's room for improvement and features so i'm reserving one star in my rating...but kudos to Appigo for a very well conceived 1.0 release. - Todo review by skellingtonjack
Excellent Application especially when combined with Toodledo  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I tried most of the free tasking/todo applications but found them mostly lacking. Then I started looking at Things and OmniFocus. I was leaning towards OmniFocus, but felt that without a Mac I would be missing the synchronization. Enter ToDo with Toodledo synchronization. Now, I have a online tasking/todo that synchronizes with ToDo for offline use. One should note that Toodledo is iPhone webapp enabled and can be used without ToDo. However, ToDo adds a nicer interface and more importantly offline capability. Adding Jott (not the Jott iPhone app) to Toodledo allows me to add tasks via phone. This combo gives me the following capabilities:1. Web access to all my tasks from any PC. I use this at work.2. My wife can access my tasks and create her Honeydo lists.3. I can access my tasks via iPhone offline & online.4. I can add tasks via phone through Jott. I use this when driving home to help organize thoughts and tasks.Overall, I give this app 5 stars. Features supported by Toodledo, such as subtasks and recurring tasks are not yet supported by ToDo...but are by Toodledo! So you have access to all these feature via PC and Toodledo webapp. You just wont see this info when viewing your tasks from ToDo. I am sure the developers are working hard to add these features. - Todo review by aMarque
Great Application  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I think this is the best To-do application that I've seen in the App store so far. "Omni-whatever-it-is-called" is much too complicated but is probably perfect for those with OCD (no offense intended to anyone with OCD). "Things" looked good at first then I discovered that you are forced to drill down to see any of your to-do list items. They also mysteriously leave scheduled tasks out of their Scheduled category even though they are scheduled but happen to occur Today or the Next day. "Todo" got it right in the usability department by displaying your to-do items directly on the first/main screen, by putting the plus sign for adding new items in the right place, and by keeping the complexity to a minimum. I only have a couple of suggestions for the application, which I will be sending to the vendor, but still give it 5 stars. - Todo review by rjackb
4 1/2 Stars! GREAT APP for simple or complex users!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that it's new, and although it doesn't have any bugs, there are a few comestic features I'd like to see more to make it Apple-grade. It earns 4.5-Stars though!I've been searching and comparing all of the apps, one by one, that have to-do list functions. This one seemed the most promising, even though I was VERY hesitant about paying $10 for it. However, I trusted my gut and I was right on!! I played around with it for only a minute and already knew what I was doing. I have only watched the intro video, nothing more. I don't use Toodelo or Remember the Milk, but I probably will begin using Toodelo since it's compatible with Firefox/Google. Pros:-EASY to use!-fun features (different "cross-off" patterns, colors)-very nice appearence; probably will make Apple wish they had put this feature on the phone since it looks so seemless-can add a contact/website to the to-do (so you don't forget to call your mom on her birthday!)-syncs with outside interfaces (not its own)-easy to organize tasks by subject (school, work, apartment, family, personal, movies, etc)-can add "notes" to a to-do task-if you put a task under "work" and it needs to be under "home", it can be moved in an instant-the list goes on...Cons:-one app I saw you could assign icons to tasks/lists...would be cool-cost-i'm not sure what the whole "inbox" is used for quite yet-could have alarms. But, this could be solved by just checking it daily and knowing what's ahead.-due date is just a date, no time. But, again, could this be solved by using the calendar? Yes!A few things I'm still not sure about is how well it syncs with the outside program, and if I could sync it into Google, then Outlook, and get things back in the Calendar. Overall: Apple missed the boat when they "forgot" to add a To-Do list type function. However, this developer stepped up to the plate and EXCEEDED my expectations, even from Apple. It's simple, pretty, easy to use, and gets every job done. Kudos! - Todo review by wahoo_2010

Perfect To Do Application  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
Firstly do not follow those who say this is the same as the freebies. It isn't. They obviously have not tried it.I looked at all the to do list applications and this is clearly the superior (and, of course, most expensive) option. It works perfectly with toodledo synchronising instantly and making sure you have one list on your iphone and mac/PC - nice with the toodledo widget on the Mac as well. It's very intuitive - even I was up and running in less than 5 minutes! There are several excellent video tutorials on the Appigo website that take you through the features in an overview and then detail. They also explain synching to two (no charge for Toodledo, payment for Don't Forget the Milk ) web sitesThis tool is so good you almost feel it was created by Apple themselves. Congrats to the developers! My one gripe is that to do lists should have been part of the iphone from day one. But that aside. This is excellent.Rob - Todo review by CelestialRob
Good, but a couple of missing one key features.....APPIGO please read and make and update resolving  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
This app is very simple and easy to use. I highly recommend this app to those in need for an easy to use app for to do lists for the iphone or ipod touch. Really good integration with my iPhone and contact list when creating a to do involving a phone call to a contact. It would be fantastic if we had the same integration with our mail on the iphone since you have a to do list available named "inbox". Also, we also need a feature for this app that allows us to set up a reminder alert just like how the calendar function on the iphone that has alerts for upcoming appointments. These, I believe, are some major omissions to an otherwise great app. Appigo, please add these two features. All those that are writing reviews, please include these 2 as "wants" so that Appigo realizes how important they are in a to do application. - Todo review by Mel1982
Looks nice, but useless for GTD with Milk  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
The app looks pretty good, but the synchronization functionality is extremely limited. As a result for anyone doing something like GTD with Remember the Milk, this will not work. When synchronizing with Remember the Milk, the application only synchronizes normal lists. It does not synchronize smart lists or tags. If you use Remember the Milk, and you want to follow anything GTD like you typically make very heavy use of smart lists. In at least some setups, there is only one real list and all other lists, contexts, porjects and tickler/someday are simulated with smart lists. In these setups, all tasks will appear on the iPhone's Todo application in a single list. It is not even possible to build smart lists on the iPhone Todo app as the tags are missing. In summary at least for Remember the Milk, this seems to be too limited to be useful. - Todo review by appenz
10 Bucks...Yes Definitely...10 Bucks!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
Well, here is my first review I've ever done. I really abide by reviews I think they are important when you are spending your earned money, but never gave any, until now. Let me start by saying this product IS worth your ten bucks period. I find it even more useful than the built in calendar, because believe it or not it's more intuitive, that speaks big going up against the most intuitive companies in the world. I've always wondered how I could get my phone to completely set me up to do something that I needed to do since I've bought it. I soon found that the calendar wasn't the answer since I can't make calls through the application itself. This is the closest thing to achieving that, and it takes it even a step further with the emails and the website connections. Only two things that kept me from giving these guys 5 stars is knowing they can do better and will. I'd personally like to see first, an alert of some type without having to enter the app first, which I believe is mostly up to Apple to open up, secondly and task type that actually could connect to the maps app and help route you to a saved location. I'm looking forward to consistent future improvements with this app, keep it up Appigo. And defiantly hit the buy button on this one ya’ll. Good investment. - Todo review by Great American
The Best To Do App Available!!!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
Very Impressive for a $10 app to have such a positive rating, but that’s because its worth it. I am very glad that I found this app, though I was skeptical at first for paying $9.99. It is worth every penny!I have never used Toodledo, but I set up an account and sync'd with it, and the process was painless and free. Coming from a BlackBerry :( , I was used to syncing with Outlook, but the combination of Todo and Toodledo is fantastic.I really like the interface and the view all setting to see the tasks based on a date due format. Everything is presented nice and clearly. The number counter for the icon on the home screen is also a very helpful feature. This lets you know how many tasks are due for the current day. It isn’t automatic though, you just have to open Todo and it updates the number to the tasks that are due.The only thing I would do to improve it is to make the lists moveable, they are ordered alphabetically by default. Though, if you are using the view all setting to see your tasks, the order of the lists is irrelevant.Awesome app! - Todo review by JNHohol
This is the ONE app I have been waiting for since the iPhone first came out  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I was very hesitant to move from a Windows Mobile device to an iPhone because the iPhone had a major lack of a task list--and NO, the notepad doesn't count. I sync with a PC and have wished for a task application. Nevermind the iPhone's weak calendar (at the time), nevermind the non-searchable contact list (again, at the time)--I wanted a task program that would allow me to date the tasks, mark them completed, archive the completed tasks--all locally, without having to go online. It's fine that it doesn't sync with Outlook--at least I can connect to Toodledo when I am on my desktop computer. They syncronizing is fast and very easy. The performance of the program is good, even with my several dozen tasks it has to load. The 1.01 version seems to have introduced a "number corner" to show how many tasks you have to do today, and it even has filters. I don't care much for the complete tasks "skinning" but it doesn't get in the way. I highly recommend this program. - Todo review by spthealien
Very helpful indeed  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
I purchased this program because i can't stand to have post it notes around the monitor to attempt to be organized. This program is amazing. I purchased this and immediately signed up with toodledo. The sync function is helpful when im at my desk i can set up tasks and when im walking around the office building sync them so i can remember them on the go.The only reason this doesn't have 5 stars is because you have to a) open it daily to refresh the tasks (for the number badge) and secondly it doesn't yet support sub tasks such as the toodle website. I hope this will be changed with a software update. - Todo review by D to the M
Incredible! The Best Todo Program I've Ever Used!  Iphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application StarIphone Application Star
The best $10 you will ever spend! If you want to keep track of your todos and have the instant ability to sync with a web-based todo information manager (Toodeldo), this is simply the best $10 you will ever spend. Not to mention this is one of the nicest interfaces out there. The developers have seemlessly integrated all the iphone features into the program. And seemlessly leverages things like the address book, e-mail, and the internet. And to all those reviewers complaining about the $10 charge: One night out at the movies cost more -and that's if you go by yourself - but don't live in NYC or you can forget that because it will cost more by yourself! (and that doesn't include the gas or the subway costs). And forget about eating anything AT the movie! That popcorn and soda will cost more than this program. And what did that little night out do for your productivity? - Todo review by cbvend73
