A great daily brain training exercise! This is a great application to train your brain's processing speed on a day-to-day basis. You can play through the game in about a minute, making it great to play a few times throughout the day. It really keeps you on your feet on a second-by-second basis and how you quickly you can interpret the ongoing changes. Coupled with Memory Matrix (their other AppStore game), I've begun to love Lumosity more and more. Not only do their games help your brain, they're a lot of fun to play. I hope to see more Lumosity games show up on the AppStore in the future.

Limited Skill Training, Unlimited Marketing It took a while to realize there's only one game on "Speed Brain" - unlike "Brain Challenge" which has a variety of games in order to train many different types of brain function and becomes progressively more difficult as you get better; then keeps track of all your statistics. The "Speed Brain" game is a match/no match game, which Lumosity says trains for speed and reaction time. While they do seem to get more complex as you play the game, it seems to only as long as you keep playing. Every time you start a new game it starts over again as far as I can tell.But why did I think "Speed Brain" did more? Because of all the buttons they show on their screen capture: PLAY - SCIENCE - PROFILE - HIGH SCORES - MOREFirst MORE, it turns off the music. It also turns off 'shake' but there's no explanation what that means. Worse, click on 'Challenge Friends' and it prefills an email which you're encouraged to send to your friends. PLAY - is just about playing the game. Enter your name and your score gets listed on 'HIGH SCORES' - and w00t! you get the top 10 highest scores (no really, every time you finish a game it says "High Score!" The science tab just promotes lumosity.com - wouldn't it be fun to join their web site? You can find out more at lumosity.com. 'PROFILE' is virtually blank. The only thing I can figure is that if you follow the instructions on it which say "Find out more by visiting lumosity.com" then probably if you join their pay site something shows up here.
