Great App and looks secure too I reviewed this app and added several accounts and it worked great. I'm a very security conscious guy and read everything in their site before adding the accounts. I read their security policy, articles from major news publications like WSJ, Washington post and awards and Im convinced that they have enough security measures to protect the info. Here's a summary of pros and cons imho.Pros:1) Access to several providers2) Security(256 bit encryption, read only account info, insured, certified by security experts, no sharing of our info to 3rd party etc, no access to user info for employees per a post in the forum, display only partial account info)3) Nice summary for each account(like queue info for Netflix, minutes remaining in your phone, charges on credit cards etc)4) Good response from support team(I had some issues with couple of providers)Cons1) Background for the account summary page could use some work2) Still has an issue with one provider(specific to me, it says username/pwd is invalid but it works if I use it directly in the provider's site)3) No way to rearrange accounts in the summary page.But just like any online site, it is in the hands of the user to create a strong password. GREAT application! Ok I don't usually write reviews but this application from Pageonce was so cool I decided to try it and give my opinion. I really just wanted an easier way to monitor my E-Trade account (IRA, Savings, etc) than logging into E-Trade via the web. I have been waiting for E-Trade to announce an iPhone native application to do this for me. But since they haven't I kind of forgot about being able to do that. Then I stumbled on Pageonce here while browsing the App store. I saw a screenshot with an E-Trade icon and was excited to see if they could actually pull my account(s) information from E-Trade and put it in a nice little iPhone native application. I went to their website to create an account and see if E-Trade was truly supported. Sure enough they support both investment *and* banking accounts at E-Trade. Both are now setup on my phone and I can view up to the minute displays of my Brokerage account, IRA and Savings any time I want with an easy push of the sync button in the application. I also added my Cox cable bill to it so I would be able to check that too. The only thing missing now is my bank account and my Westar energy account and I am set! This is a really promising application. I was leery at first to give my account information to them for my E-Trade accounts since that is my entire retirement fund. After reading their website I felt more comfortable doing so. I believe they have taken every reasonable measure possible to secure your data. SSL to the servers, I'm assuming their 256 bit encryption is AES not 100% positive but that's my best guess on the servers, read only access to your data so it can't be amended or changed and firewalls. I think Pageonce has a good thing going here and I was shocked this application was free. I would have gladly paid for it. I think $4.99 or less would be a great price for this application when a little more work has been done on it. I would have given them 5 stars except for the following minor nits: The UI could use a little work, it does not feel quite like an iPhone application. Personally I would have liked to see it use the grey scheme and controls the phone uses in its Contacts pane. But I am not an UI engineer :) I just don't think the current black scheme works well IMO. Also the formatting when displaying dates and balances in your accounts could use some slight tweaking and maybe a different font the current one is a tad on the small side. There appears to be rounding going on in the balance computation. For instance in my brokerage account currently there is .81 cents, but Pageonce shows it as $1. It appears to just round up or down to the dollar. Not exactly sure why they chose to ignore the cents. Especially when dealing with account balances. Again these are just minor nits that I am sure will get fixed and when they do I will bump this up to 5 stars! Great application from a great startup. Unsafe You have to be really careful with this site. I got concerned when I saw it was free, I started to look into how they paid for it. If you look at the terms of service: "Pageonce may also use your account access information for the purpose of maintaining and improving the operation of the Service, as well as providing you with offers targeted toward your usage of the Service. You can cancel your registration with the Service at any time and have your information deleted from our records. Certain information may be retained by Pageonce past cancellation date to meet record retention requirements. " This basically states they have the right to watch everything you do in your life and then bombard you with direct marketing. Reading on, I discovered this: "If your Account Login Information is improperly disclosed to a third party without your consent, and this disclosure is the direct result of Pageonce's gross negligence in operating the Service, then you and Pageonce agree that Pageonce's liability for your direct and actual damages in this circumstance shall not, in the aggregate, exceed $500 (U.S.)." So what this means is that if their servers get hacked in, and someone uses your account information to run up huge debt, their liability limits to $500. This could be potentially disasterous. We have seen numerous cases where customer data has been released into the pubic accidentally, but typically the organizations do not have this limitation of liability so the customers are protected. this is my favorite application. I'm more interested in being able to stay on top of my bank account and credit accounts and when the gas bill is due -- than linking to myspace, though this can do that too. the setup was pretty simple, found most of my companies. Great App!! This is a great way to track balances on multiple bank accounts and credit cards - and other websites too. Would definitely be worth paying for, but it's FREE! Best App in the Store I have been searching for a program like this for awhile - and was shocked to find it first for the iPhone/iPod Touch. Even cooler! I was amazed to download this app and discover that I could add (link) every financial institution I do business with (Wells Fargo, Fidelity, Vanguard, Columbia Funds, ETrade, etc). It completely blew me away when I discovered I could also add my electric bill, phone bill, gas bill. Great job Pageonce! Just a couple of requests - it would be really cool to be able to define (or select from a library) my own icon for institutions you do not have icons for - also it would be really, really cool to be able to arrange the order that the icons appear in the iPhone app. As an example, I would like to see Wells Fargo at the top since it is my checking account, and what I will look at the most, but it starts with "W" so it's toward the bottom. MY FAVORITE APP so far... I have just been LOVING this service/iphone app! Although, I did have a problem with Amazon that I think might be linked to my setting it up in my pageonce account but that has hopefully been resolved for good. This is the first time I'm actually checking all my banking info from my phone. Before, it was just too much of a hassle to go through all the password authentications, etc. through the web browser. Pageonce is super easy.I've been telling a LOT Of people about it!I recommend setting it up on line, it's much easier and quicker. Once that's done, all your accounts are only ONE click away!Hooray for PageOnce!PS - Some people are just haters. Read reviews with caution. If you lose your iphone, you should change the passwords for your accounts online immediately. OR put a passcode to lock your iphone after being idle for a few minutes so if it's stolen, they can't get in. This app is not only FREE, it's AMAZING! Not only is this app free, but it's totally amazing. One of the things i do most on my laptop is check balances, now i can do it anywhere right from my iTouch. I can see my balances as well as recent purchases. And you can add accounts for anything, they even had my small local banks!!! Perfect iPhone Assistant Prior to downloading this app I had not heard of the web site connected to it. After checking into it - it is a perfect assistant on the iPhone letting you quickly get the status of your accounts for just about everything. brilliant The application works great. I will admit that I have yet to use it for bank information b/c I am reluctant to give that kind of information out. However it has lots of other items to keep track of like blockbuster and starbucks card. If you are willing you can also use it to keep track of your bills. Wow, I'm impressed! Easy to set up with one easy place to see all your online activity. Great app for iphone. Easy to set up with your online accounts through their website. No password data is stored on the phone. You don't even give them your name - just an email address to set up your account. For those who fear providing log-in information, it seems safe and secure. (Their whole business plan rests on keeping your information secure.) It's actually a good application to help avoid identity theft as you can see all of your accounts at once everyday - even accounts that you wouldn't normally log into everyday.
