Must have been updated I don't have any issues with freezing. All of my fav receipes are saved and stay saved even when I log out.
There was a complaint that when u press the "add to shopping list" that the program adds things like 3/4 cup milk but stores don't sell 3/4 cup mill. Well I know it's rocket science but you just ignore the 3/4 part and look at the fact u need milk.
There was another complaint that it adds kraft products to the list. I guess they missed the memo that this is a kraft product...duh...they'll promote their product. Again I realize this is rocket science but when the shopping list says but kraft sharp cheddar cheese then u just go buy any freaking cheddar u want!
Try the app out. It's .99 then u will see how lame many of the complaints are and realize how helpful the product is!

Pure Advertisement This app doesn't have any real recipes. Everything requires Kraft proprietary ingredients, IE: Kraft sauce, Kraft dressing, etc. Don't buy if you already know how to cook.

High hopes dashed I got very excited when I saw this but once I tried it I that changed.Lots of problems with this application.1) Crashed on me multiple times2) Using while shopping very awkward, takes multiple clicks remove items3) Product database search is very slow, only Kraft name brand products4) Pickers for quantity, unit and aisle don't scroll5) Very difficult to add an item to the list unless through a recipe6) Generally very slowIt's hard to believe a company like Kraft would release this in it'scurrent condition. * Simply Awsome* This is where the iphone really shines. Simply put this is the Best app I now own, and I have 10 pages now of apps. I have been using KraftFoods.com for over a year now. Their recipes are amazingly easy to make and extremely tasty. My family has not met a recipe from the site they did not like. With the app. combining the ability to make shopping lists on the fly, accessing your recipe box online and emailing and this is the greatest app ever created for my busy lifestyle. Oh and Kraft Foods if you are listening, I know you have put a lot into your site and I am sure I am buying more Kraft items but you know what, I really don’t mind, Its all good because you paid it forward and have done so much to help my crazy busy lifestyle. Awesome I spent the past couple of weeks looking into all of the grocery apps and wanting an advanced shopping list, aisle knowledge, and recipes. Unfortunately none of them offered all three so I settled with the grocery gadget. Then this came out a week later! It has everything and more that I wanted. I love the simple recipes that link to the grocery list, the daily suggestions, the photos, and especially the videos! I have been trying to learn how to cook so this is so perfect! The only suggestions I have are more videos and I would love to see vegetarian content but for now I will just substitute. Thank you Kraft! Finally a Kraftfoods app and it works great! I'm a big fan of kraftfoods.com and I've been waiting for an app forever. This one gave me everything I wanted and more. You get a daily recipe idea and several categories to quickly choose from. You can also search recipes and create a shopping list to get the items for one you want to make right from the app. The most important feature for me is being able to access my recipe book from the kraftfoods.com website on the go. Instead of having to copy the recipe into another app I can now just call it up when I'm at the store or in the kitchen. This app is also very pretty with great pictures of the majority of the recipes and some videos. I will caution that there are ads, which would normally bug me in a paid app but this is pulling lots of info and video from a website so there has to be an external cost. The adds are for Kraft products and they aren't hideous or in the way. If you are already a kraftfoods.com user then this app is for you. Great Reference This makes last minute choice of a home cooked (semi-homemade) meal a snap for me. And obviously you can substitue for a Kraft product. I do like that it locates a nearby store that has the grocery list items.

Great Recipe App I was looking for a recipe app that I could find a recipe, add it to a shopping list, come home with the ingredients, easily find the recipe, and cook it up. It also needed to have recipes that my teens would like. For .99, I couldn't ask for anything more simple or easy to use. I made a mexican casserole last night and the teens ate it up and even complimented my cooking -- something they normally don't do. Great interface, but a few (fixable) issues. The interface is great. Good design and layout. However....
1). If you add a shopping list from the Overview page, delete it, then try to add it again, the shopping list items are not added to the list. Deleting the items makes it so that you cannot add the list for that recipe again. Gotta be a bug. Bummer too, since the shopping list feature is awesome.
2). When I went to Kraft's web site for iFood Assistant, I wanted to let them know of the shopping list bug in their "tell us what you think" section, but the web site couldn't send the comments (tried from two different computers). Rather frustrating.
3). While the design of the ap and layout are very good, the content itself is a bit lacking. It's true that the use of Kraft products in each recipe is a bit much, but that's to be expected from a Kraft iPhone ap that is a front end for their web site. While many of the recipes look very good, they need many more recipes to truly make this the premier food/recipe ap on the iPhone. The ap itself is poised to do that, if it has enough sought-after content. Combining BigOven's content with iFood's interface would be great!
Will watch for the updates to this ap.

Dissapointed The app is helpful and full of usefull information. However, the UI is not as intuitive as it could be in a few places and a little buggy in others. The ABUNDANCE of ads and Kraft product placment is annoying to anyone who paid money for this app. If it were free the story would be a little different. Great 4 Stay home Dad Great app. Works nicely. Just have a few suggestions.
1. We paid for the app so we don't want to see any ads. Plus it slows it down (or so I think).
2. Cache images your recipes don't change that often.
3. Group items in shopping cart. Don't add half cup milk three times. They don't sell them in those denominations.
