ToyCamera - Art & Mobile
Takayuki Fukatsu's series of the first ToyCamera apps. This simple application changes your iphone's camera to the fun toycamera.
You do not need any difficult setting or photo editing knowledge. Actually this app has any setting panel.
All you need is just take a photo with this app.
ToyCamera automatically adds several random effects that is chosen in setting to your pictures.
TROUBLE SHOOTING: If you are NON-English user and if all navigation is displayed with Japanese, it means in your iPhone, Japanese has higher language priority than English. To fix problem, simpley open iPhone's setting/general/language panel, and select English as your language. After setting back your mother language to first language. It changes languages Priority.

Wish it worked ALL the time;) I LOVE this app when it works. But 90 percent of the time, the first shot taken comes out B&W, as if I was using 'Old Camera'. I have to retake, then it works. But when it does work, the pics are SUPER COOL!!

Great but no geotag info So far I love this app, my only problem with it is that it does not save your location information like the built in camera does. There are many apps that use your location, I hope in the future we get the EXIF info with the pics!

Love! I love this app! Essentially turns the iPhone into a digital toy camera which is a wonderful thing because most usage of the iPhone's camera is as a device of fun. One thing I'd like to see in a future update is a high contrast only setting.

Great!!! Love this application. It can do random or you can pick a setting. To switch a setting go to the bottom right corner and touch the "I" to change the setting.

I agree Can't pick photos from your cam roll and can't ajust the settings per photo. It random. Don't waste your hard earned $$ in the bad econmy.

waste of $1.99 i bought this app thinking you could use a photo you've already taken and adjust it like you can the rest of the photo apps...WELL YOU CANT! you have to take the app then it randomly chooses an adjustment for you. i hate it.

Don't buy yet! [update] Don't get me wrong I love this app, but there were things that need to be fixed, and updated, once that has been done, I will endorse this app and give high marks.I initially wrote a bad review because I would only get B&W images. I reinstalled, now it get some color images, and sometimes B&W. If that is part of the effects, I wish it would say that it will process varying styles at random. That being said, it does work, but I have no control whether or not it will be B&W or color. Color effects can be very random as well, that I don't mind as much (keeps it interesting and is what makes it specially), yet the B&W I wish I was able to control.Also, it has big time MEMORY issues, needs to be optimized, to prevent memory leaking.All in all, the image processing algorithm is great, the random effects and the color blow outs as well as the blur effects make it feel like a real lomo or holga. Cool app, has some bugs This app takes really cool pics. Has some bugs though. First, it tells me after every pic taken that I need to reboot my phone due to low memory - it shouldn't do that. Also, the "warning" is misspelled and says "worning." I also wish I could use the toy camera effect on pics already on my phone. Please add this and the bug fixes on a future update.
