Mormon Channel - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Truely inspired!! Thanks for all the hard work that went into this to strengthen us all!! This app is wonderful.
I would love to be able to see what's currently playing when listening to the radio part. Hopefully that's something that can be added for next update

Great content but... I love this app! however I find it hard to enjoy it as much as I would like to because - I enjoy listening to the radio before bed. when my iPhone 3g goes into locked screen mode - times out... The lds radio app just shuts off. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. No clue. but it's hard to listen when it shuts off. I have to slide and unlock the phone before it starts to work again. Hopefully this may help the devs. Other than that, this app is my favorite out there.

Great! I think any and all LDS content in applications is great! I also wish it were possible to listen while using other apps but I believe that is a problem for Apple not app makers. I would love to see the church magazines in a text format like so many others have said that would be viewable without a wifi connection! Thanks for the work and doing it legitimately and for free!!

Need to be able to resume where stopped I love this application; especially the availability of all the scriptures in spoken form. The BIG problem is that if I pause, thinking to resume, it goes all the way back to the begginning. Need a scroll forward and back feature, or at the very least a true pause that allows one to resume where the audio left off.

Good App, Fix the Sleep issue. Thank you so much for making this app. I would love to listen while I am on the road so if you could please allow the app to continue playing even when the iPhone goes into lock mode. That's all that's stopping me from giving it 5 stars. Thanks!!

Pretty good, hope it gets better I like the application and the access it gives me to the church magazines and conference talks. My biggest complaint is that if I'm unable to finish listening to something, I can't come back later and pick up where I left off.

Great Idea but Needs LOTS of work 90% of application is flawed - at least on the iPhone 3G. Streaming audio doesn't work 1/2 the time (no audio audible), and much of the other content provides the proverbial content unavailable message. The only portion that works every time is listening to the scriptures, which I already purchased elsewhere. The actual 'Mormon Channel' streaming content is buggy at best. The application closes frequently and is so frustrating that I consider it unworth of further use pending developer corrections. How this ever cleared 'production' standard is beyond me.

Finally!! It's great to finally have an app that allows me to get church content anytime, anywhere (besides the sciptures of course :) Glad you fixed the issue of not playing while the device sleeps; much more practical now. My only suggestion is to add the ability to close the app while listening to pre-recorded broadcasts i.e. conference and then be able to start where you left off when you reopen it. Other than that great app!!

New Update, New Bug After finishing a chapter of scriptures, should you want to listen to another chapter, when you touch the Back button the app crashes to desktop. Please fix ASAP.

Mleej This has got to be one of the best apps out. However it does have a few bugs. Can anyone help me with why my Ensign 2009 articules won't appear when I touch the ensign. In future up dates it needs the ability to listen to the magizines off line. Also I lose the feed when my Ipod touch times out. Please help.

Like the app. Looking forward to next version This is a great app. Thanks for providing access to such great content. I think this is a great app for all LDS church members.
In addition to suggestions already made, I'd love to see a feature where when you pause the scriptures or Ensign, you don't lose your place. (Or at least rename the button to Stop, which is closer to the actual behavior.) Additionally, it would be nice if you could bookmark your locations in the scriptures (etc.) so you can pick up wheee you left off.

Let's call this what it is--a beta The content itself gets 5 stars but the player is buggy. The pause doesn't work, it crashes half the time and doesn't save my place in a talk if I leave the app and come back later.
Not impressed so far.

Needs more, here's a list Excellent first effort, but needs more.
- app needs to stay running when screen goes black
- radio needs to continue playing while looking at other buttons/settings of the app or until the app is closed or another station within the app is selected
- app needs to be able to play through iPhone dockable speakers and not just through built-in speakers or headphones
Here's some immediate ehnancements! Thanks to all who worked on this!
