To protect your images saved in Roll Swap go to Settings > Roll Swap > Launch Blocker. Turning this switch to "On" will not allow anybody to launch the Roll Swap application.
Some other useful hints: To save web images with Safari or Mail on your iPhone/iPod, tap and hold an image. To take a screenshot, press and hold the Sleep button and tap the Home key.

Jerseygirl So I'm dumb because I switched all my pictures back to the main roll, so I could see them in my regular album and then proceeded to deleting the app, STILL losing a random 3/4 of my photos??? Biggest load of crap ever. This app is stupid ad worthless. Put the pass code up on your phone if you don't want people seeing your private photos.. Or get them printed and sort them out after..

DON'T GET!!!!!! I had 1200+ photos and I lost half of them!!!! I just lost a lot of precious memories thanks to this app. If you want to keep all your photos, don't get this app, it's not even user friendly, I just touched on the camera roll button, and it just started swaping all my pics and lost about half, so now I have 600, and there is still 93 left in the app and I can't get them out. Photo swap, you better fix this fast!!!!!

Great Find and Free can't beat it Great tool, keeps photos private that I want to stay privte, nice addition to my iPhone. By the way for those that are losing pictures, when you delete the app any photo that was moved to the app roll from your camera roll will be deleted. If you want to delete the app simple send the pics back to your phone by email and save them back to your camera roll, then delete the app. I know it is a pain but well worth the trouble to keep your photos privite without locking your phone. I don't understand the neg reviews. People who lost photos because they deleted the app are dumb. Basically what it does it takes your camera roll and swaps it with an empty one, so your camera roll is now empty and your pictures are in the app. You can swap them back. Only negative is that it would be nice if you could organize what's on the rolls instead of having to switch rolls each time before you take photos to make sure they end up in the right place. I love having all mynphonr backgroundsnon a separate roll but it's a pain if i forget to switch!
Edit: xray, I didn't realize you had moved your pics back to your camera roll and THEN deleted the app an had a problem. That's pretty serious. Need more useful apps like this... not that I have anything against virtual shavers or light sabers. I was unable to organize photos directly on the phone until I found this app. It is limited but functional. Great! I love this app. Very good for keeping photos seperate and protecting them.
For the people lossinf their pics, I've never never once had trouble with this app. I assume you guys swap photos and then delete the app (which WILL delete your photos), then it's your fault that they were deleted, not the developers.
