Best App I have Purchased I wanted a simple app to keep track of my charges I put on my debt card. I wanted a simple user interface that functioned well. This app has it all, it can be very simple, or it can be very in-depth. Whenever I make a purchase on my debt card, I can quickly and easily add it the the app. Whenever I need to know the balance of my checking account, I open the app and it is right there. GREAT APP!!!!

Show me the money This is a great and user-friendly application to keep track of your spendings, especially if you use you credit or bank card, checks and hate to carry the cash. It is an electronic register on the phone. Goodbye paper and pen to write down all the spendings.
If the guys at Wall Street were using this application, we would never have the economic crisis. They could afford it for $1.99 before they had all the money.
Not only you can track your current and past spendings, but with calendar function you can enter your upcoming charges and withdraws just by selecting the date of the event. You can add not only your bank accounts, but credit cards, loans and recurring charges. The best of all - no personal information is required (account number or credit card number), so you can feel safe to enter all data. If you lose your phone or someone hacks into it (the possibily is always present), all they'll get is just a bunch of numbers.
I totally recommend this application. For just $2.13 you'll save hundreds of dollars in bank overdraft charges.

Disappointed! Bought this app because it's the top paid finance app. As soon as I started to use it, realized the interface is very confusing and by the time I figure out how to use it, it crashed on me. i was also hoping for the the data sync feature, but was mislead like the previous reviewer. NO data sync! Don't be fooled!

Adiós pen and paper Fantastic app, worth the money. Takes the chore out of handling your checkbook- it does all the math. Your register stays nice and organized since you can add old transactions in their proper place. Once you begin inputting info- it has a recall. For instance if you bought something at safeway previously all you have to do is type "s" and it will bring up all payee's beginning with s. Only improvement needed is someway to look up transactions that you have checked off as clear without having to look thru the whole register.

How to export information to another iPhone? I just got this app. and seem to like it. But is there any ways for me to export the information on my checkbook to another iPhone. My husband and I have joint bank acct. We both need to know how much we have in the acct. so we don't overdraft. Please let me know if there is a way. If not please update this app. So we can have that option. Thanks!

Very limited This is a very limited app with busy looking. I brought it because of it said it has sync feature, but sadlly to said it is not sync at all. Very deceiving. I am going back to the Balance app, it's free, easy to use and without all the fluff.

Cures ADHD overdraft blues Wonderfully designed app at a great price. I happily switched from iXpenseit (or iCrashit...). Great interface that allows for very quick data entry.
There is room for improvement:
- Option for sync with bank account to allow automatic reconciling with transactions posted by your bank.
- Photo option. I still need to have a pocket full of receipts for business purposes. Would love to store them as photos instead.
- Could be a bit more stable (Three crashes so far)
- Budgeting and reports... so long as the intuitive ease of using this app isnt sacrificed for it.
- Importing worked fine, but the labled bank from the apps transactions were not recognized by my desktop budgeting app, forcing me to reenter data into each of the imported transactions.
All that said, good job guys!

This app is one reason I'm grateful I bought my iPhone! I just bought Checkbook 2.2 yesterday. Already, I can tell I will be using this wonderful app several times every day! I keep my financial records in Quickbooks Pro, but I was looking for a way to keep up with the balances of my checking, savings, and most used credit cards, while out shopping. Now, with Checkbook 2.2, I can do just what I wanted! (I don't lug my laptop around very much, but my iPhone is always with me!) Great! Just one suggestion... Awesome, awesome app! I actually look forward to spending, just so I can keep things up to date with my accounts.
I would like to see a feature to be able to set up recurring transactions from a 3rd party or be able to set up a recurring transaction without having to choose one of my existing personal accounts. This would be useful to me since I also have a joint savings account with my girlfriend, in which we both make deposits, but I wouldn't need to keep track of her account at all aside from what goes into our joint account.

Best of the lot so far. After trying several similar apps, this one is hands-down my favorite. The GUI is very thoughtfully laid out and obviously designed with usability in mind. Starts up quickly and enables you to enter your transactions in just a few keystrokes. OK BUT KEY FEATURES MISSING Like the polished feel but couple of key features missing that several other apps like Accounts have.
1- There needs to be many more options for the recurring transaction timeframes. Only 4 choices is pretty lame. Need quarterly, biweekly, semi-annually, etc. Without these you have to remember to put them in or manually make the payment amount fit into one of the few timeframes you have but that means the balance is always off.
2- Need to be able to set up a recurring payment without an amount. There are payments that are frequent but not on regular schedule or same amount. Without this you have to put in .01 to save the recurring entry then backspace it out and enter the real amount every time.

Great App... a MUST have... Not only is this app cheap, it is user friendly and serves the purpose for which it was made. When I first purchased the app, I added a review about the need for a pass code. Within days there was an update available which allowed for pass codes. Very good but needs a few more little things This App is simple and the interface is great. I really like it but would love to see a few minor things added for it to be perfect. 1st, I'd really like to be able to add a check number to my transaction easily and independently from the category or memo. 2nd, having the ability to set up recurring transactions and/or Payees would be extremely helpful. Lastly, being able to customize a few things like the color of credits versus debits, etc. would make this just that much more appealing.
