Simple and uncluttered charting A fine way to calculate quickly numerical scores. Without a way to set grade cutoffs or rounding options, however, the letter equivalents are not really there yet. Perhaps +'s and -'s will find a way into the next iteration; then the program will feel more finished.

More free time My wife is a teacher and she always forgets her grader. Now I just Gand her my iPhone and she gets the papers graded. I don't have to help calculate the grades anymore. This let's me watch my tv shows on time now.

Some Caveats I purchased iGrade PRO rather than competing apps in part because it offers the display of a letter grade along with the numerical grade. I assumed that the number-to-letter scale could be set by the user; unfortunately, that is not the case. This application uses only decades (90s = A, 80s = B, 70s = C, 60s = D, 59 and below = F). There is no option that will allow one to customise the correlations between number and letter. For me, that is a huge drawback, as my school's scale is not based on decades, and because i use additional scales for subsets of my students.The weighting feature is cumbersome in that one must enter each student's work individually; grading 80 papers takes ages. If i had studied the developer's sample pix more thoughtfully, i would have realised this before buying the application.I do not feel like i lost my money on this application; however, it does not completely do what i had thought it would. I hope the next version will provide the multiple number-to-letter scale options that would make this a genuinely and fully "PRO" application.
