use to be better would have given it a 4. brilliant little app, but the update just screwed it up. now it's not realisitic. i hope you guys bring it back to what it used to be. it doesn't even need all those beers. one is good. one that looks real is better than many that don't. bring back the quality please!

Fun gag I find it amazing that so many people dissed this app with one star on account of cost. Lighten up people, its a funny gag. If it costs too much for your taste, don't freaking buy it. No one cares if you think it is too expensive. You are all a bunch of whiners and I'm sick of seeing these complaints throughout the iTunes store. Money talks. If it were too expensive, the developers would know immediately as people wouldn't be buying it. This is a fun little application... doesn't do a heck of a lot, but it is a fun gag. I had this on my iPhone 2G while I was waiting in line for the 3G and it got a lot of giggles from friends strangers. It was worth it to me. Maybe not to everyone. Don't bother The original movie version was great, but after the upgrade the movie version flips upside down when you pretend to drink it.
This one looks very fake. Foam looks good but not the liquid. Reacts too slow to phone movement. Sounds like a scuba diver rather than a beer. While the iPint is not as realistic as the original movie version of the iBeer, it's much better than the app version and it's free.

It's novel, silly and fun. To the reviewers who are saying this was available for free on Installer.app, you're wrong. This isn't a static movie playing back. It's interactive and controlled by the accelerometer. The graphics are good. The new version is customizable too. Always manages to get a laugh whenever I "demo" it for friends. Is it worth $3? Probably not. I'd have rather seen it at $1 or $2. But, I will say, it's better than the old "movie of beer being poured" and those saying it's the same clearly haven't actually launched this one.
