Episode 30: Great Job Ice Hole! The winter mayhem continues with an all new god power. Pinch the sun larger or smaller (or is it closer or further?) and the temperature changes. Make it cooler and the pygmies get an icy chill...until they freeze completely. Make it larger and they become hot and listless. If they overheat for too long, they catch on fire. If they are on the ice island, they will melt a hole in the island!. There they can fish, or encounter a squid monster. Also included is an easter egg. Drop something (from a different island, perhaps?) in the ice hole and a create a huge ice geyser!
Also included is a purchasable dance pack (99 cents, cheap!). This augments the dance function with 7 new dances, including The Fan Dance, The Chicken Dance, The Robot, All The Single Ladies and even Pants on the Ground with audio included! The pygmy zombies get a new "Smooth Criminal" Dance and the vampire can shake his booty to, "Staying Alive" with the other pygmies acting as backup dancers!

LOVE This is the single most addicting and fun app you can buy (says me). 3 out of 4 of my close friends with an iPod Touch have it and I love stealing their iPod so I can play. I actually made one of my friends buy it, (she agreed saying that if $0.99 was enough to make me happy, she'd do it) and she was actually really amazed at how much I was squealing and quickly checked it out and was addicted herself. I am SO glad to have a new 32gig iPod Touch, mostly because it means I can play this whenever I want. :-) Even though I'm dead on my feet after nights of no sleep, I felt the need to get this right away. :D

Mean/nice toggle How about a nice and mean god toggle? If your in nice god mode, flicking to change the weather would make bright clouds rain and make rainbows. Mermaids swim by. Everything becomes nice and volcano erupts chocolate. Islanders can swim. In mean god mode, it'll be like what it is now. 1 action, 2 different possibilities!

Suggestions This is a great apps. It falls under the category of "Entertainment", though it could become a "Game" very easily. Here are some suggestions:-EVOLUTION: let them evolve, rather rapidly, so that they show us, the Gods, why mankind became such an "Earth-worthy" race;-SHELTER: allow the villagers to look for shelter and, ultimately, master the crafts of technology so that they can escape the arbitrariety of the Gods;-COMPETITION: make the villagers compete with us, the Gods, for the control of the island, using technological advances and shelter as their primary counter-weapons;-SURVIVABILITY: give them more survivability, such as fighting together to beat the Vampire, or ropes to hold on to the tree when you fool around with gravity, and even fishing capabilities to (after enough evolution) fish that shark and make a nice meal;-PROGRESS: in due time, end up getting real cloths, even making houses, buildings, everything in the small island so that they get the feeling of power only us, the Gods, can take away at our own will.Basicly, change the rather "watch them die constantly" engine of this "Entertainment" apps into a struggle between us, the Gods, and them, the villagers. It's a great twist because in most games, we're the ones struggling to survive, while in this game, we're the force of nature, the God Himself, watching our "hatchlings" struggling to survive.As things stand, they don't struggle to survive, they are just at our mercy. Don't forget that the game is used for approx. 5-10 mins max at most times, so the evolution shouldn't take too long to happen.~IntErVERSION1.10: Another great update, right on time, as expected. Great app, definitely a must-have.

I have some ideas for Pocket God so PLEASE at least read them and consider them.
1.Weapons:"Sticks and stones may break their bones" Yep...I would like to request a option to allow clubs and rocks to apear on the island for the islanders to fight each other with AND fight invaders...(See next idea)
2.Rival Tribes:"The Invasion" Activating this feature makes a band of rival tribsmen to come to the island armed with clubs and rocks.It is your choice to let the invaders take over the island or help your islanders win by giving them weapons and fighting the invaders yourself.
I ask again for you to read and consider these ideas.

Lovin This Game! Dont Listen to the others on "I waited 2 Weeks for this" The update is great, its nice that you brought back the cloud moving action, And the Menu Selection is great. I have one suggestion for the magnefying glass though, If you remove the magnifying glass while the Islander is on fire, it would be cool if he stayed on fire and ran to the edge of the Island into the water, and it would be cool to pick him up while he is on fire, and smoke raising from him. Overall Im glad i payed the Small 1$ for this great game. The updates are great dont let anybody tell you otherwise. 5/5

O my pocket god! This game is so hilarious! Some suggestions though
When you pick up and islander, have it so you can hit other islanders with the one you are holding.
Like it says, make more natural disasters.
Some more sea creatures to eat them.
Meteorites?
Ships from afar that you can sink.
Multiple islands which have wars and you help who wins.
Have them evolve. Make huts, go fishing, build fires, stuff like that.
Make villages which you can destroy
Bigger island and girl and boy villagers.
New update is kinda cool, but the vampire should look more like a vampire. Gray skin... Also, make him bite islanders, or have it pick him up and throw. It looks bad the way he just knocks them off.
Overall great entertainment; get it!

Mixed feelings, but not really This app serves a purpose. I bought it because of all the hype, and I have to say, for $.99, it's worth it. If it was like, $5.99, we'd have a problem, but for the amount of free updates and new creative features they're always adding on, a dollar is A FAIR AMOUNT TO PAY, so stop bitching, consumers.
That being said, yes, okay, it gets boring. If you try to play it for hours, you'll burn out on it. But the fact is, this app is not meant to be played like role playing or strategy apps. It's meant to be a five minute ego boost that's most effectively played when you're bored and stressed and feeling powerless in your own life. It serves its purpose well because it allows you to play God to a more unfortunate people than you. For the love of your god do not save them; this is about taking out frustration, not keeping them alive!! They aren't nanopets or digipets or whatever, they are an infinant disposable commonity! Kill them! Kill them!!

Make More Like a Game Pocket God is fun, but I would love to see it evolve into more of an interactive game type app. The little guys could just be living on the island as you interacted with them, maybe adding some good things you could do for them too. And if you did something nice to them, like give them food or make it rain a little, they would start praying or build a church or something. If you are too mean, they might create an idol to worship, etc.Other ideas:* put fish in the water they try to get to eat, but only after you kill the shark* add a God power, such as giving them crops to plant* add a God power, rain, which could be good or bad, depending on how long it rains* add a God power, sunshine intensity - make the sun bigger and it gets too hot, crops die, etc., but if it is too small, it gets too cold* add a God power, animals, that they could eat or herd/raise/sacrifice to you if you are doing too many bad things to them* add different skins/characters for the people, for example politicians, celebrities, sports teams, etc.Mostly, it would be nice to do some good God stuff too.And instead of simply creating new people, it might be neat if there was a little village in the background and more people came out when conditions were good. I was kind of thinking of a game based on those episodes of The Simpsons, South Park, and Futurama, where they had those little civilizations and the characters became 'God.' Kind of like a mini-Sim City/Civilization type game.

Some Features i would like to see in the future -Islanders can Evolve, all the way up to Space Dudes on a floating island in space (and ability to unevolve them) -Space Invaders to take islanders -Lightning, Fire, Water, Earth and Wind abilitys-Add Animals (Friendly and Vicious)-Islanders interaction with other islanders and animals-Bigger and more Islands -Also add different types of islands for example: Glacier Island (Ice) and different types of animals for different types of Islands-Ability to Upgrade god powers -Also ability for islanders to defend themselves from attackers or you (Like running away)-Ability to Upgrade Islanders Example: Stronger, Faster and more weapons (to attack or defend themselves) -Ability to change islanders appearance -Different type of islanders Example: Islanders that can swim, Islanders that are strong that can pick up large objects, Islanders that do more damage with weapons and/or access to more weapons-Huts or other house like places for islanders to sleep or go in (or hide, but you could rip the house to shreds) on island-Option to play online Example: Fight with other players with islanders, and/or god powers. - Pocket God review by Ivan1993
Has potential but needs more! Developers, here are some of my ideas also.
•Ways that the villagers can interact with each other and show emotions, like through thought bubbles "not just opening their mouth when picking them up"
•Bigger island and other islands that they can explore and gain things from, maybe to help them survive or to fight each other with "like being able to make spears or other things"
•Different kinds of animals or other people that they can choose to be friendly or hostile towards, they are right when they say that a lot of games are about war and fighting.
•Some other ways to kill and control them. Like storms, starvation, fire, about anything that can be used against them. I mean you are their god "good or not"
That's all I can think of right now but everyone is right! After about 30 sec this app gets old so hopefully updates are coming soon.

Needs way more things to do! First off, it is a intriguing idea. Although, it gets very boring, very fast ( like 30 seconds fast) and I could have spent my doller on a better application. Things that should be added - Sea creatures, weather (snow, rain, wind etc.), have it be able to change from day to night, food, have the people be able to interact/fight with each other, a raft so they can get off the island(or at least travel around it), and to have them be able to "fly" farther to the left or right instead of just sliding down the sides. THIS GAME IS THE BOMB I love this game ssssooooo much.... The guys are so awsome I can just watch them walk around.... But I have to say they need like god powers/shealter/food/fire/mingle with each other/differnt islands/buy stuff for them ECT. Needs update First of all it needs an info button to tell you how to use certain powers. It also needs things like fire, hail, change temperature, lightning, spawn dangerous animals, etc.
