Perfect Perfect as an application for the iPhone can get right now. Searching and background playing would be nice, but as it stands right now no one save Apple can do this. Perfect otherwise.

Fills in the hole that the iphone has been missing for 2 years. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 years for this application, but luckily the devel was able to stick it out. App is not perfect yet, but already does what I need, so it can only get better.Thanks,

Excellent product... Well worth the price. This app finally makes iPod touch/iPhone stand alone product. Absolute must for anyone interested in listening to podcast! Kudos to the developer for making a great product. I contacted the developer through google groups and he was very prompt and responsive.

Better execution than Apple This is now my preferred method of listening to my podcasts. Apple's approach forces me to switch from ipod to the itunes store and then half the time I have to search for the podcast even though I just hit the "get more episodes" link. Now thankfully, I don't have to. I enjoy having everything controlled under one app. I also have the ability to stream an episode and continue where it left off at any time. No more downloading is necessary but I do have the option to do so. I would like to see some options for rewinding etc. but I am sure this is in the works as this app is getting more features with each update. I recommend checking this out if you listen to podcasts on a daily basis.

Almost there.... EDIT: There! This app is awesome if you listen to a bunch of podcasts. The OTA download of all of your podcasts is lightning fast and destroys having to download and sync to iTunes.
Only issue is that version 1.1.2 crashes on MPEG 2 files, MPEG 1 work fine. The author tested an MPEG 2 file for me on version 1.2 and says it works. I can't wait!
EDIT: 1.2 is here and it is awesome! So many changes he should have called it 2.0! This app is incredible. I listen to podcasts all day at work- one touch in the morning at home and I am set for the day. Again, awesome!

Wow This latest update 1.2 is awesome. This app deserves to be on the top ten. A must have for ppdcast listeners. You can now search for podcastb and if you don't find the one you can still add it manually.
Suggestion: I would like the side note that says when a podcast is unheard to be in a color that stands out like red.

So happy to have that on App Store It's better than the build in podcast function from iTunes Store. It didn't duplicate functionality, obviously. It is clearly a much clever way to watch podcast. I can subscribe and watch any podcast easily on-the-go. The best part is that it can download video or audio over 10MB using 3G. There's no limitation. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more in the future.

Only way to Feed The only app I use for Podcasts. Does video too!!!! Not only can I stream a podcast but I can download them too. Updates are frequent and add useful functionality. Try it and you won't be disappointed!!

Much needed app, works great This app streamlines the podcast download process, no more syncing with computer or manually downloading podcasts one at a time from the wifi store. Already a great app and seems like more is coming so if you listen to podcasts daily, this is highly recommended.

The new Podcaster App I have really like this app even back in the old podcaster days, when it was only for JB phones. This new Rssplayer is very nice podcasting app. You can import your .opml file and have all your favorite podcasts at your fingertips. I personally use opmlmanager.com to post my .opml that I export from iTunes which makes it a lot easier than doing each feed individually.Podcaster was the one app that I bought, so I think that it says a lot. RSSPlayer is just as good and I'm sure will be even better as the updates come. If you really like your podcasts like I do buy this app!

Not Duplicate Funcionallity :) There are 3 sucky things that makes podcasts frustrating through itunes:1. They must be completely downloaded and transfered to your device.2. They kill the subscription if you stop listening for awhile.3. You can't download more than 10 MB per track. (almost everything I listen to is < 10MB)This great program allows you to get around all three. Although it seems the apps store requires you to manually type each rss address in, the other three issues are solved--especially that it lets you streamingly comeback to a podcast > 10MB after you've left it. It has only one other problem: It doesn't let you jump forward or backward in the podcast, so you better pay attention the first time :) - RSS Player Podcast Client review by Mattman770
