Download this now!!!!!!! This app is amazing it's hard to belive that we have this kind of technology. I am a sophmore in high school (I have the iPod touch) sometimes I can get wifi at my school this app works from there it's amazing! It needs a little bit of work but I think that it could be one of the most usefull apps out there.

Works as advertised Works as advertised. Perfect when I'm travelling and when I'm oncall . This is great utility if you want to quickly send an email from office desktop or use if in-office-chat client , from outside the network.

Ok for Limited Use After using RDP Lite, I can say that WinAdmin is currently a better choice for regular use. If you only need to access a server every once and a while, this free app will do. It's main flaw is the interface. Like MochaSoft's VNC apps, RDP Lite also relies on an interface where you switch mouse modes. The first mode moves you around the screen. The second mode is the mouse on the remote desktop. The switching back and forth becomes a pain. I prefer WinAdmins tap commands which are easy to learn and increases the usability. Lacking Many Features I bought WinAdmin, another remote desktop client for the iPhone, and later went to check this out. I was disappointed with this in comparison simply because this software only allows for two server connections. Additionally I cannot connect to multiple servers at the same time as WinAdmin allows me to do. There is no right click functionality in this application making it pretty useless for working with Windows. WinAdmin also supports logging into a Windows domain and supports way more screen resolutions. User interface is lacking... While this app is great in concept, I feel as if it is lacking in both interface and functionality. The interface really does not make a lot of sense, and has poor use of Apple interface design guidelines. The "Connect" button has an "edit" function and the "Edit" button has a "connect" function (they're reversed). There is no right click - and while I see that is going to be included in the full version - using Windows without a right click is pretty useless. There is a big button on the main screen, but it isn't really clear what the button does. Any screens in Windows where there is supposed to be a blinking cursor - the cursor is not visible and it does not blink which makes it difficult to tell which text field or box is active and accepting your input. When the keyboard is deployed you can't scroll all the way down to the Start button or the taskbar. As far as functionality is concerned, you can't login to a domain which makes saving a username and password useless for corporate users (you still have to type in your username and password). There is no ctrl-alt-del, no console support, and doesn't it support color settings higher then 8 bit. It also does not support multiple sessions at one time. And, finally...The encryption is only 40bit, which for anyone that cares about privacy --- well, it's not good.While, I am always interested in trying new apps.. Works great, better than they say it does. This worked perfectly. Worked very well with a Windows Server 2003 running RDP. I was able to log in and open MS Word, edit a document, spell check, close the document, all very quickly. Also supports landscape mode. Total Waste! I bought WinAdmin, and when I saw this free application, I felt suckerpunched. However, the rule we grew up with still applies: You get what you pay for! Not exactly fair to compare a FREE app to one that costs $12 Ok folks, what part of free don't you get. The darn thing is FREE. Sure there is another competitive product available, and I happen to own it. But guess what not only is it not free but they don't even offer a free "light" version. At least the people at MochaSoft offer a limited feature version of their product so you can get an idea of what the full paid version is like. I purchased WinAdmin when it was the only RDP client available, and guess what it isn't perfect either (shocker). It's Free Being a system administrator in charge of over 30 machines, this app doesn't cut it. For a very ocasional home user, this free app is better than nothing. I wanted to test this app in order to evaluate the core programming. Sadly, it is no where as polished, intuitive, responsive, or feature rich as WinAdmin.

Does not work with high security Could not connect to any of my servers. They all use high security settings. The description mentions that this Lite version can only use 40 bit (weak) encryption yet a Full version is not available. I figured I'd give it a go not realizing that my servers would not accept the connection. Free but insecure... too much for an iPhone to handle 40 bit encryption? That was broken over a decade ago. This is not for corporate or even secure home usage, unless you additionally use a VPN.
