Tragedy, yes absolutely. Inside job? Without the slightest shadow of a doubt! Keep your heads buried in the sand, feel self-pity about how those "bad terrorists" did this to us or use this app to sober your head to ask the thousand pressing questions about 9/11 that the network media will never air implicating powers inside the US government in the attacks of 9/11 and proving the now widely held storyline to be pure fiction. Why did they do it? Because without this "new Pearl Harbor" our imperialist missions in the Middle-East and central Asia would have never received the mandate of the American public or congress. 9/11 gave the government a pretext for the devastation of civil liberties, the launching of phony foreign wars, the establishment of new foreign bases and the creation of a necessary new perceived enemy (to replace the USSR). It has to do with the rise and economic threat of a united Europe, the emergence of India and China and the decline everywhere of the dollar. America doesn't like complicated realities though- too many sound bytes, too much thinking needed. Better stick with that Hollywoodesque CNN/FOX/Network media/official "Al-Qaeda" story therefore- it's a lot simpler, and we get to feel justified and self-satisfied in our parochial world-view. You've been hoodwinked (again) America....but do you really care? Just stick to the network news and Christian fundamentalism and let this house of cards and lies keep falling around you. If "Al-Qaeda" were blamed for our current mess many would have bought that too. Sad.
Don't let the deaths of the victims of 9/11 be in vain. Ask the real questions: google "loose change", "9/11 hoax", "in plane sight" and "9/11, false-flag attacks". We've been lied to many times before. None of this is new. God bless America AND the world.
Addendum: to "Vartian", if 9/11 was a tragedy to be solemnly respected (and indeed it is), what of the hundreds of thousands of civilian lives lost in Iraq and the many thousand in Afghanistan. Is that not tragic either...and horrifically moreso!? There can be NO discussion about 9/11 without addressing the huge inconsistencies and problems with the official version. There exists a conspiracy theory only because it is so plausible and because the official storyline is so utterly riddled with holes. You can't honor the victims of 9/11 without honoring the 700,000 Iraqis who died as a direct continuation of this lie. Honoring ALL victims of treachery, lies and war means getting to the messy truth. Yes 700,000 Iraqis are DEAD because of us, as a people, sanctioning the official storylines and giving our manufactured consent. No more. The app is poignant but maybe the developers will do a little soul searching and come up with another app for Iraq's numbers. The only difference will be that there will be just so many, many more zeros....but ah, who cares about heathen Arabs anyway?

Missing historical numbers, good idea -I would rate this app decently if it containted crirically important historical numbers that are sobering, subtle, and shocking in their own right, and important facts that should be known.
-Some of these numbers I am incredibly dissappinted that the writers of this app completly missed, as they are historically relvant to that dark day and our current world situation.
-Please include these facts in an update, I was looking forward to buying your bailout numbers app. I will not spend my hard earned money on developers who cannot make accurate applications if they claim to be historically accurate.
-So instead of shock value, let's add some basic facts everyone should know, and you've got yourself a quailty app.
- 3: complete catastrophic collapses. On that morning, the first 3 steel structured buildings collapsed from fire/airplane damage in history. 7 World Trade was the first ever to collapse from falling skyscraper debris/internal fire.
- 0: refrences to 7 World Trade's historical collapse in 9/11 commission report. (also none in this app, developers must correct)
- 7: Hijackers still alive because for reasons unknown they weren't connected at all to 9/11, and many of them have never left the middle east or are connected to al qaida. (this app makes no mention of this, even though pentagon has acknowledged this descripency and revised accordingly. Developers must correct)
- 285x: number of average put options against American airline compaines whose airplanes were used in attacks is multiplied by 285 in the week before 9/11 attack.
- $12,000,000,000: the amount in US dollars of profits made internationally, and only from spiked put options, against companies that dropped in value due to 9/11.
- 441: Days until it took the Bush administration to form any kind of public committee investigating 9/11. The JFK assassination and Pearl Harbor look less than one week. (I note that this app has days until afghan war, this fact is critally supplemental to that one).
- 1300: degrees farignheit of steel 6 weeks after the collapses occured. This resulted in multiple molten pools of metal underneth the catestrophic collapse sites of the 3 most decimated buildings. First time in history jet impact and fuel utterly melted steel into pools, and the cause of the heat that created these pools is the obvious reason for the 3 historic catestrophic collapses. (note this app states the jet fuel burned at 1200 degrees in wtc... developers correct or add this fact, no excuses. Don't help pull the curtain over the elephant in the room...)
-Take these facts into consideration for your much needed update. There are plently more that's just my 2 cents.
-I will not tolerate apps that perpetuate baseless, raw, emotional reactions to an event that must be historically and factually rationalized. We people of the world must use our brains now more than ever to fully grasp this horrific act of savegery.
-More important than remembering is comprehension (for through comprehension comes a perspective tenfold of simply remembering, as well as daily reflection). This app does little to help us comprehend the nature of the greaest crime of the 21st century. Improve this app.
-My specific 9/11 prayers are with those volunteers suffering physically, those confused and depressed about the event, and espically the innocent who lost their lives in, after, and resulting from this and other acts of dispicable treachery.
-I don't need to say what I think of those who made $millions$ that day, because god has a place for them. The only thing I can do at this moment is make someone become aware that they exist. This app needs that info more than ever, no ef'en excuses.
-The developers have read this review, so think of what god has in store for those who knowingly or complicatly perpetuate a fatal misconception en mass to the public. Change comes from knowledge, by picking this subject you have a soul duty to cultivate an objective understanding in the app user (ie. a divine goal, this is serious). We're counting on you to do the right thing.

I'm not a patriotic person at all, but i was reading through this app's reviews and was astounded. All of you people who think 911 was an inside job are the most impressionable morons ever. You watched a flawed documentary and it convinced you that the government killed thousands of Americans.

A very touching a sobering app A simple, beautiful app that tells a story through simple, yet sometimes breathtaking, numbers. Effective and chilling at once.
And then a screen of people ranting about conspiracy...as if ninteen people smuggling box cutters onto commercial jets loaded with fuel in order to strike at the heart of America's financial and military might wasn't enough of a conspiracy.
And then the Bush appologists. You rate the app with five stars then use it to spew your political agenda. The victims and families of 9/11 are not props in your endless revisionism.
Have some decency. Treat this tragedy with the respect you loudy and continously claim the rest of us have forgotten.

To the moron who said learn some science Here is some science, and open flame fueled by jet fuel and office stuff (carpet, blinds, desk,etc.) does not reach a high enough temperature to melt steel, it just not possible. So, with that in mind... How does a 747 that hit in the upper floors of the buildings take down the entire building. The WTC buildings were constructed with a steel inner structure and a steel exo skeleton to with stand and impact at any point of the building by a 707. Besides that point, how did the towers collapse at nearly free fall speed? And where are the tower's steel structures? There should at least still stand the tower's steel beams that were in the center of the towers. Another point, how do you explain the molten iron that was found in the basement of the WTC complex? How do you explain all the aluminum oxide found at ground zero that billowed out for weeks after 9/11? If you knew a single thing about basic chemistry you would know that all reactions contain reactants and products. Aluminum oxide and molten iron are the direct products of a thermite or thermate reaction. Thermite and thermate are the same chemicals used in high explosives used by our own military. And you can easily recognize a thermite or thermate reaction, it looks like the same kind of firery explosion that occurred with the Hindenberg. Another question to ask is why did the US government instruct the EPA to declare it was safe to roam around ground zero only 3 days after the incident when it was clearly not safe? Oh, and also explain why WTC building 7 collapsed. This building wasn't even hit by a plane? It only had small fires on it's bottom floors, and it was mainly carpet and desks on fire, not the actual steel supports. And there is so much more, but please explain these to me since you are so sure that your own government wouldn't lie to you. You people need to think for yourselves, wake up and realize what's going on. You can't believe what everyone tells you, be not like the masses of idiots, be the one the make the difference.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! To all those who wish to express their political views rather than actually tell us what you thought of the app: You are disgusting! There are many forums to which you may express your theories and spew political anger.....this should not be one of them. Did you ever think that family members and loved ones of the victims may and probably will be on iTunes checking out this app? Is that fair to them? Have a little bit of concern and decency for the families of people who lost their lives on that horrible day in our nations history. I have my own political views and express them freely like everyone else, but is this the place to do it? NO IT CLEARLY IS NOT! Use some common sense! I will flag all of your comments and also send an email to iTunes regarding this. I hope they do the right thing and remove your political nonsense from here..I just downloaded the app. I will review it with a later post.

God Bless but the Truth hurts real bad I can guarantee most of them have already noticed that 9/11 was an inside job. Goto 911trith.org or WeAreChange.org and research for yourself. The proof is in the pudding and know that these firefighters and first responders support these organizations. The Weal Foundation is an organization who is in contact with WeAreChange.org. I'm sure you will all try to prove me all wrong. Instead of you bickering and complaining about it go research the facts for yourself and do something to support them. Please, you will feel better that you are helping them obtain justice and recieve compensation for these deaths.

Doesn't put things in perspective very well. A good idea, but the human mind has trouble understanding concepts such as a million (a common number throughout the application). An improvement would be to use simpler numbers to illustrate the size of one million.
As for the people claiming it was a conspiracy: As has been said before: Learn some science. For every site that calls shenanigans on 9/11, there's one desputing each "fact" in the "loose change" movie (and every other thing similar to it). Guess what? The guy who made that movie is still alive, and the video still exists. If the government is okay with killing thousands, why not kill this one?
Then there's the science. Yes, jet fuel can't melt steel. But steel loses half of its structural integrety at a temperature well below that of flaming jet fuel.
