Great app. Better than web app. I've been riding Caltrain for a couple years. I was on BART and lost service around Balboa Park. I ended up missing the right train Then, I came across this app and have been very happy with it.

We love it! I can't thank iCaltrain enough for making my commute actually enjoyable. When I have to work later than usual, I can quickly check when the next trains will be coming. The map is really useful for the occasional trips down to South Bay.The company I work for develops iPhone apps. Our CEO, too, raves about this app and recommends it to everyone.

Outstanding! I'd been using iCaltrain.com for nearly a year, but I was always annoyed by the need for a Internet connection, as my signal drops between my office and the train station. Having this information available at any time is invaluable to me.

Good app I take Caltrain every day (often different trains), so I love this app. The developer seems to keep it up to date with schedule changes too -- which he should, for $5. Not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about...

Very well done. I would've been happy with an offline version of the web app. This gets me more information and does so faster.

Much better than the "online" app The iCaltrain app using Safari was good, this is fantastic since you don't need to be "connected". I love the fact that after picking out the departing and arriving station it gives you the next two trains automatically at the bottom. I wonderful addition. Clean and easy to use and well worth the price, since I know how long it took the developer to welldevelop this. Would love to see it incorporate location into it to find the closest Caltrain station but seriously that isa way down the road and not a deal breaker by any means. - iCaltrain: Caltrain 2011 review by Ted65
Must have for commuters For those that rides Caltrain regularly, this app is a must have. It is much faster and more responsive than the web app. The dial interface that is not possible with a web app makes planning trips much easier as well. Very good...just like the webapp I have to give it to Mr. Chen. I've faithfully used the webapp since I got my iPod touch. It was very useful, but it required internet access; that was not the best for an iPod. Now, with the native offline app, it's just as good as the webapp. I love it and it is a godsend for all Caltrain commuters. The only things I would like added is the ability to receive advisories (delays, closures) and (for iPhone users) GPS tracking and real-time arrival times.
