Wife and i both got this app for our phones. I particularly like how i can email here where i am. We live in LA and meet at various new restaurants all the time. I send her the email and then she can get directions right. I know this will become real useful.
Compass is a cool feature too, especially for someone like me with no sense of direction without navigation.
Found this app through PosiMotion's G-Park. They seem to be on the right track with the navigation programs. Keep up the good work! I will look for the new apps in the future.

Almost what I've been waiting for... I've been looking for an app to be able to send my current position to friends. The email share feature that has a link with my location to Google maps is great, but I would really like to be able to text my location. Maybe they can work on this. Be Aware...only Metric Mesasurements I wish there was an option to switch between Imperial/Metric units for altitude. Interesting that it uses MPH for speed, but metric for altitude and accuracy. Overall, nice app. though! I like the graphics too. - G-Spot review by MrdrT
OK but can't wait for updates Pretty good app, but I wish the coordinates updated more often. Don't know if that is an Apple or PosiMotion limitation. But when I went geocaching with the phone my coordinates hardly ever updated as I was walking making it pretty useless for that purpose. I did notice it worked fine in a car though. Has Issues Coordinates and Speed are innaccueate because they include call tower data. It seems that a filter could overcome this.

Kind of clunky But it does what it says! It would be great if it had a speedometer that looked like the speedometer of a car. I wish I could choose a setting for the units, I prefer imperial units over metric, but I guess metric are better than nothing. I Should Have Listened Totally useless. I have the first generation iPhone and this "app" rhymes with "crap".Why didn't I listen to all you 1-star reviewers? I had to find out the hard way... Where did all you 3 and 4 stars people come from?The compass does nothing (I heard some reviewers say you have to be moving for it to kick in - and walking doesn't do it), the "Spot Me" has me off by a mile, in the "Info" Page, it says "Altitude: Not Available, "Heading: 0.00 Degrees (no matter where I point the phone). Give this app a chance!! This is the only app I've seen that looks anything like a real car GPS system: it has an auto rotating map, and an on map compass and speedometer. That alone makes this app pretty sweet. All you giving one and two star ratings: did you restart your phones? Did you give the GPS time to sync up? It's not as quick to lock on as google map app but once your locked in it works like a charm! I think this app is a great start, and hope it evolves to work more like the tom tom / garmin (voice instructions, directions, etc.). Glad I didn't pay for it! The only thing that was right was the clock & calender! But I knew before downloading that it's not a true GPS because unless it goes through a satelite to your phone than it's done through phone towers which is very inaccurate (it pinpoints the towers) all these so-called "tracking and GPS apps should be forced to change there name to "tower-locator" because how there naming them is mis-leading! - G-Spot review by grizzledcamudgen
