Not Real Time I have been stuck on I95 S outsude of Richmond for nearly 3 hours. All lanes are closed. All vehicles are sitting in park. I downloaded this app to find out what is going on. I have tried each mimimum severity level on several different distances. I have refreshed numerous times. There is no mention of traffic problems or that all south lanes on 95 are closed. Cheaper than a Garmin! Update: V2 is great. The map view is extremely helpful. Thanks for listening to feedback! Also, I feel a need to add an explanation for those mentioning "old" dates. The date pertains to when the incident was updated so if you live in a place that has alot of ongoing incidents like roadwork that might have started in April but is still going on or will be going on for months, the date will show as April (even if it is December). Or if a car accident happened 3 hours ago, and there is still back up, the time won’t change. Similar, if an issue just happens it might take a bit to get to the server. Same stuff happens with any traffic feed. I feel like people sometimes forget there is not someone sitting on the side of the road relaying traffic to the app.This app is great especially for the cost! My Garmin traffic trial runs out soon and this app will save me the 120 a year subscription. I live in Boston and commuting home can be a nightmare. So far this app has saved me twice and when comparing it with the Garmin it is spot on when reporting traffic issues. I am really looking forward to the update that can turn off construction. There are some projects on my route home, that have been going on for over a year so they show up when I look at traffic. Solid App for what it does And is it just me, or what? But I am get frustrated reading complaints about the price of everything in the App Store. Few of us are made of cash, and those who are didn't get that way by wasting it, but the price is posted before you buy, so please, stick to the merits (or lack there of) of the application. This app works for me, and I live in Southern California, and we know traffic. It is not, however, easily readable while driving. If you think you are getting a replacement for your Garmin or Tom-Tom, you will be dissapointed. But It does tell me pretty accuartely what to expect ahead, and when I let my daughter keep an eye on the changing conditions, it's fun for her to be the "navigator," and we've avoided several of the traffic messes SoCal is notorious for already. - Traffic review by iThinkThere4iPhone
Review update I agree with C172Pilot, the app looks like its trying to constantly update. The spinning wheel spins at the top of the phone and keeps freezing up the app. The app is still a bit buggy but seems accurate. Pleases fix the freezing. ****Update**** Since the update this app works so much better, much more stable. Great to see that the maker is willing to continue to improve the product. Does't Work for All cities in US I think what the author FAILS to mention is that this app will not work in all cities in the US.It certainly does NOT work in Portland, Oregon. It does work in Seattle. Too bad I live in Portland!I'd like my money back - Traffic review by What-Again
Get's me home for Dinner If you have any length commute, or are taking a trip, this is a must have!This app is awesome. It allows me to get real-time traffic updates. I have both local radio and Satellite, and this blows them away. Using this combined with my GPS, let's me get home in time for Dinner!A good enhancement would be to record a route, and show traffic along the route. V2 much better... I have had the app for a while now and first off, the V1 was working fine for me. I live in the SF East Bay and the traffic updates just a few minutes slower than actual. V2 has a faster response and seems to get the smaller traffic "slow downs". The added feature of the map within the program is nice as now I can see what the traffic is like around me since I live at the insersection of two major highways. About the dates, someone else mentioned that these are when the incident was last updated and that is true...at least for me. I have the road construction alert on and I can see that dating way back whereas the other traffic condidtions are current to the day. I am not sure as to where the info is being obtained whether it is DOT, but it does seem to update as soon as the other server gets updated. The built in traffic from Google Maps just has colors showing the traffic patterns, but this does give individual incidents which I like. - Traffic review by Jasho
Latest Update fixes all concerns I just downloaded the latest upgrade, V 1.2. This has corrected all of my issues with continual traffic updates , sluggish performance, and inability to access details and maps during the update process. It is now very snappy, and at least in the Washington - Baltimore corridor, seems to actively list the problem areas which are detailed on other on-line traffic servers. The filters make it very useful. I consider this a very worthwhile app and well worth the price. - Traffic review by emdru

Does exactly what I need I just needed an application that can identify any congestion, accidents or any possible delays. It paid for itself this morning by letting me know about an accident on I-95. My city is not on this map... I am sure this would have been a helpful app IF it could find my city and its surrounding freeways. Although 100 miles away, it can find traffic jams. Version 2 seems to be working great.. It looks like most of the problems have been fixed after reading the earlier reviews..working great for me (in the phila tri state area) i love the "other location" button so I can look to see what's ahead of my trip. I also have a GPS for my car but this is a great addition in that I can check on the traffic in my home before I head out without having to turn on my GPS which sometimes is hard to get a signal indoors.I am so happy that reviews from now on can only be from people that actually use these apps!! - Traffic review by RBJ555
Great App - Just like Garmins Traffic I don't understand the negative comments on this application. The comments must be referring to the initial release. All problems seem to have been addressed and the app is working flawlessly! Just like the traffic in my Garmin GPS. I actually tested out many of the traffic situations on my area and they are being reported acurately. Traffic conditions can change at the turn of a hat. Don't buy! I bought this cause it said it was across the US but there is no traffic data in 61201 or 52802 so if it wont work here it probably wont work for you unless you live in a big city. - Traffic review by Before I Sold Out

Good traffic app for the price! This is a really nice traffic app that does exactly what it says and works really well. It's worth the reasonable cost.
It could be GREAT if it had automatic updates and showed if the incidents were getting closer or farther away while you are moving. Also, it would be nice to have all the incidents sent to google maps with a text description, but I am not sure if the google api supports that. Easier to read text and more information displayed in the main screen would be another plus.
