bombs away An anticipated and polished experience comes to the i platforms with mixed results. In this game you play set missions with established targets and are required to meet at least the minimum goals before progressing or before you take enough ground fire and are killed. To assist you have health pickups and several different power bombs that are revealed when you hit targets. The game looks and sounds beautiful. It controls the speed/turn of the bomber using tilt and this does a reasonable job however combined with the titles punishing difficulty, it simply takes the fun out of it. I wanted to be able to jump in and blow crap up without having to invest a significant amount of effort grappling with the controls. You must "lead" the bombs to the targets by dropping them a second or 2 before your sights are over them while constantly adjusting your speed, avoiding tracer and flak fire. It almost seems like a simulation type of experience in terms of precision and damage taken, ect. but in the end, it's just work. If the dev can balance difficulty issues here, they almost certainly could widen the appeal and "hit" their targets but for now it mission failed.

Well worth the wait! I saw this game's initial review on TouchArcarde.com in the beginning of May, and have been on the lookout for it ever since. Checking iTunes twice a day everyday for 3 weeks was definitely worth it, and $2.99 for this game is a real bargain. Beautiful graphics help capture the essence of a great game, easy to learn but difficult to master. Must buy!

Excellent in every way!!! As a proud owner of over 300 apps I can say that most of them I rarely, if ever, play. This is one of those titles that I actually play. It's combination if gameplay, presentation, and graphics, not to mention the excellent price, make this game a no brainer!! Buy immediately!!! You will not be disappointed.....

WOW!!! Feature to change weapon? Great game. Thanks. Differs from all games on iTunes. I was waiting for something like this. The maps are fun too because there are a few maps that isn't just bombing stuff. For example, one map we have to blow things ahead fast so the 18 ships can pass safe. so developer if u can pls add more interesting maps like this.Also, we should be able to change weapons so we dont have to waste them. We can then be more effective.And, u guys can add people that shoot and cars driving around shooting us as well, so we have to blow them up too. That would be nice. Also, we can have a machine gun where we touch the screen and it shoots the machine gun on the land, lets say to kill the people and blow up trucks.Anyway, Great start im really happy. A definite must buy! And a definite 5! At least worth 3 dollars!

Awsome One recommendation for update. Move the menu button. When you are in the heat of battle it gets kinda frustrating when you accidently hit the menu button and breaks your concentration. Also would like to see more missions where we interact with our planes to defeat the enemy. Otherwise this game is so freakin' addictive, I just love to blow stuff up, especially using that mega bomb or nuke. It would be cool to have variations of armaments. And I love that eerie silence right before you complete your mission, when noone is shooting at you. Good work guys, wonderful game!

Some days... you just want to drop BOMBS !!! If you ever had a bad day at the office, iBomber is an inexpensive way to vent your frustrations --and its actually a lot of fun too!I have had this game for well over a month and it remains to be one of my favorite time killers. The tilt sensitivity can be adjusted, which turns out to be one of the coolest features for the game. I can play it at just about any angle, but the later missions may require you to sit up and pay closer attention.Well worth the price of admission. Can't wait to see what else comes out of Cobra Mobile!

Amazing game!!! Really good game, amazing graphics and really fun. The controls are not the easiest but practice makes perfect. The missions aren't easy so you won't fly through the game. Overall the game was really well developed and very entertaining.

Great game I love the graphics, the types of bombs are awesome and the sound effects are amazing. The only problem is that it is too short and you should be able to do challenges or achievements. Also upgradable bombs would be nice. Anyway this game is Very fun and is worth 3 bucks

Good game When I watched the movie pearl harbor I thought the scene of the Japanese bomber pilot zooming in on ships below was really cool. This game allows you to do it urself!
Control is a bit difficult but very realistic. Limited number of bombs would be more realistic experience!

Very nice, but difficult Maybe I'm alone here, but I found this game to be very hard. First, the good. This is a well-executed 2-d flyover game in which the player has particular targets to bomb and power ups to find in the process. The sounds are great, the backgrounds are detailed enough to find targets, and the controls are surprisingly responsive. Now the bad: when your bombs hit their marks, it's a beautiful thing, but when they don't, and particularly when you can't dart across the map fast enough to ding the baddies, it's very frustrating. I'm sure I need some practice, but even after the first map, the difficulty ramps up pretty quickly. Still, it's a unique use of the motion control and an overall fun experience. Now, the bad... or at least, the I-had-trouble-with. Between the controls and the timing, this is a game of precision and expert timing. Maybe I'm used to more forgiving games, but I found even early levels of iBomber to be very challenging. Your mileage may vary. Upshot: for the price, this is a great addition to your game library.
