Not what you may think. This lacks the music lists that you have setup on your profile, and it basically acts like pandora, 6 songs skip in a hour per station. It would be better if it let you access your playlists that you created.

Ok, but... First of all, from what I can see, what IS in the program works well. Apart from not having a "cancel" button on the search screen when the keyboard comes up (which forces you to make a search to access the app's other buttons again), the app seems stable and solid.However, as a long time Imeem user, what ISN'T in the app is what frustrates me.One of the most basic things I use Imeem for is to search for any specific song and listen to it.How simple is that? That's all I want to do!! I don't want to have to sit there and listen to or cycle through all of the other artist's songs just to hear the one song I want!The unusual thing is that not a single app in the App Store (that I know of) seems to be able to do this. Maybe Apple doesn't allow apps to have this functionality, however, it is still very annoying to see the feature absent from this app.UPDATE: Slacker Radio (free) has this feature and many more, so it's obviously not a problem with the Apple approval requirements. Maybe Imeem will be adding this capability to this app in the future.

Great apps. Great apps. Be waiting for this apps. Thank you. I also love pandora, however I prefer imeem because it offers music from a broad range of culture. Imeem allows me to listen Haitian, French, and Latin music (I'm sure more languages/cultures are avail). I am a fan of good music without borders :)... Thank you.

imeem Mobile makes my iPhone bigger this app is fun to use. i like having imeem recommend new music based on the stations i've created from my favorite artists. i also like being able to stream the stuff i've already uploaded to imeem. lets me play more music without filling up my iphone.wish i could play playlists of the music i've uploaded -- would be cool if everything i've uploaded was available as a single playlist/station. i'm guessing that's next...?

We need a LaLa app!! Sure it's great to have access to your music library and have it playback on imeem's app. Though if you have a library over 100 songs be prepared to be asked to upgrade to imeem's Vip plan. $29.99 for 1000 songs & $99.99 for 20,000 songs uploaded a YEAR!! That's insane! I have uploaded my complete library on lala for nothing. I have a library that consists of 800,000 songs that I can access from anywhere. I rather stick to my Simplify Media 2.0 app and hope Apple decides to approve LaLa's app, though I highly doubt they will since they are a competitor.

Great first start, but not very useful. I was hoping to use this app in place of the web version so I don't need Safari open taking up screen space all the time. However, it has some poor design choices that make it useless for this:1) Although you can get to your favorites, you cannot choose which song to play, and can only skip 6 songs per hour. That's a deal breaker for me.2) Like the rest of imeem, their recommendations are nowhere near the caliber of iTunes. But you also suffer from the skip limit here, so be prepared to listen to some sub-par music.3) The play screen has icon-based buttons. While some are obvious, others are not, leaving you guessing at their meaning.This app has some potential, but it's crippled by design choices at the moment.

Not the expected I've been wanting a app for Imeem for quite some time now but I have to say I expected more form this app I wanted it to be similar to the site and not Pandora this app works just like pandora u can skip more than 6 songs and u go off station except imeem dosent even give u song related to the artist nor music it just a Internet random Jukebox

Great App! I'm gonna go ahead and guess that if it's crashing on your iPhone you've probably jailbroken it. Idiots, that's something you gotta accept if you jailbreak.
This app works perfectly and does what it says it will without flaws. Works QUICK on EDGE network, which surprised me. Obviously I'd like on-demand playlists, but I understand licensing issues can get in the way of that, so I won't mark you down for it.
One thing I would love to see, and nobody has yet done this in a music app, is the ability to use EQ settings within the app. This would undoubtedly be difficult due to the fact that it plays streamed audio, but if it could be done I'd like that.
Also, a web-link to the Wikipedia/IMDB pages for each artist/album.
Other than those pretty minor gripes, it's a great app! Recommended over Pandora and Last.FM if all you need is quick music that you don't own!

where is the imeem part of it? i love the website, its my only destination for music. to find any song you're looking for no matter genre, language, etc. and the ever great playlists.
but this app is lacking most of the features why i love imeem, kind of a let down. still an ok app just bring back music on demand.
