Mobile deposit app I just moved and don't have Internet on my home computer yet. Now I simply deposit checks using my iPhone with the USAA app. Plus with all the travel I do I can pay bills on the road. Very well done USAA.

Didn't meet expectations I know it's version 1 but I expected more. You're better off sticking with the mobile web site until they sort out the numerous navigation problems in the app. There are several dead ends that, once you follow, you can't back out of. Requesting ID cards, for instance. Also there are screens you can get stuck in where you have to log in ... no "back" button ... so if you click the wrong link you are stuck logging in or killing and restarting the app. The app does show some promise so I'm looking forward to a quick release of version 2.

It's good, but... I've been a loyal customer of USAA since 2003. They're awesome. I've been wanting a USAA app for my iTouch for some time now, but the app that was offered was for iPhone only. I was so very disappointed when I couldn't put it on my iTouch. I made do by going to the website and logging into their USAA Mobile. I saved the shortcut to the site onto my homescreen. It worked well enough, and I've been using it for a few months. Then I saw today that this app is now available for the iTouch as well. I immediately downloaded it and tried it out. It's ok, but it's just like the USAA Mobile site I had saved. The icon even looks almost identical. You still have to log on the same way everytime you open this app (which is kind of a pain for me since I have a long logon name and a long password that has both upper/lowercase as well as numbers) and it gives you the same options. The design is no more cleaner than the site they already offer. I still deleted the shortcut in lieu of this app, but it's no better or worse.

Nothing special here This is really nothing more than a fancier looking version of the USAA mobile site, and since neither of these give you a way to view your statement balances it makes it pretty worthless when it comes to using your iPhone to pay your CC bills. Fix that, and at least offer to remember usernames and it would rate higher.

Needs pin access Easily a 5 star app if you could log in with your pin after establishing your iPhone access (like the AT&T banking app) instead of having to type in your login info every time.

Mobile Banking done right..on their first try USAA offers a ton of financial services, and it's great to see that they're all represented here in a very nice looking and easy to use app. Everything in the app is fast, which is a nice contrast to the AT&T Banking app.All of USAA's customer service numbers are listed without having to log in to your account. Similarly, there's a built in ATM Locator that beats ATM Hunter because it shows map snippets in the app. Finally, there's a car accident checklist function--a list of steps to take and even a form to fill out to save all the pertinent information for your later use.If you actually log in, you can see all of your banking information and recent activity (though it'd be nice to have an option to list more than 5 transactions at a time), can pay bills, manage transfers, etc. It says you can make trades as well.I can't wait to see what further updates bring to this app.

Whats with no Touch??? I can see where some of the features would not work as intended for a Touch user since we are teathered by our WiFi connection, but this would be so nice to have anyways. Please remove the restriction on Touch users. Will rate higher when I can use this app.

Works Well Much better than the other banking app I used to access my USAA account. Also much easier than going thru safari. Looks like there is full access to account transactions. Plus access to investments a big plus. Roadside assistance number and locator are comforting to have as well. Lots of nice features as well. A must have for other USAA members.

IT works on the Touch!!!! I’m not sure what all the screaming is about with this app and the Ipod touch. I have an 8gig 1st generation Ipod touch and it works great on it. Every touch user out there knows that to be connected you have to be in a WiFi area and connected, otherwise you cannot do anything on the web. On the application main screen it tells you it will work with the Iphone and Ipod Touch as long as you have the 2.2 software update. Touch users, make sure you have the latest software update, connected to a WiFi source, download and try it. It Works great on mine!!!!

No Touch...What the deuce? I am very disappointed that this app doesnt work on the Touch. I was so excited about getting the app...now Im just kinda bummed. Hopefully they'll work on getting it to the Touch in the future.

FANTASTIC APP!!! - iPhone Only Version As of right now the USAA app is only available for the iPhone. It clearly says this in the description, yet people continue to download it for the iPod Touch and rate it 1 star. For those that haven't used the app, HOW CAN YOU RATE IT???This app takes the mobile version of USAA and plugs it into an app. There is not an option to remember your login information - which is probably a good thing - but the AT&T USAA Mobile Banking app allows you to setup a PIN for logging on. A lot easier. Overall - great app with a lot of useful features.

Great app, BUT... Beware the mobile deposit function. I used it on a check with a rather dark background pattern and it misread a 3 as a 1, causing the check to be returned. Because I followed directions and voided the check, I am now forced to get the check re-issued. Take this advice: don't void or destroy your deposited checks until a week after depositing them this way.
