A   Turn off "original station units" and voilĂ , degrees F! Nice complement to my other weather apps! - AeroWeather Lite review by Allison29
Great App   Well thought out information and presentation. Quick and easy to set up and use. Very useful. Thanks for making it free! - AeroWeather Lite review by ENDAX
Excellent Resource   I've been using Pascal's Aviation Weather Dashboard widget for quite a while now. I check it every morning before leaving for the airport and every night to see the TAF for tomorrow. Now he's brought that to my iPhone. I used to use the aviation.mobi website (which is still great - and you can type in multiple airports and save that as a link to get close to the same functionality as AeroWeather), but this is a much cleaner way to get the data. I like the translated TAFs because of the conversion into local time, but the translated METARs in the overview could use some refinement in my opinion. The winds are listed as mph instead of knots - I'm not sure if this is just labeled wrong or if it's actually translating into statute mph. If so, I need the option of knots. One other thing that makes me stay away from the "decoded overview list" is that I really need to know not only the sky conditions, but how high. Currently if it's overcast the overview just reads "overcast" and I have to look at the details in order to see if we're overcast at 300 feet (I'm staying in the coffee shop) or overcast at 1500 feet (I'm with students practicing pattern work). In the overview it would be nice if it gave the time of the METAR so I know how old the info is. Finally I would really like the option in the details of nearby TAFs if there is no TAF for the station. For example I fly at KHWD which doesn't have a TAF, but KOAK is 5 mi away and does. It would be nice if the TAF for KOAK was linked from the details at KHWD. So I have a couple of relatively minor suggestions, but this app has seriously become the one that I use a dozen or more times a day - it may even end up in a coveted Dock position. Thank you so much. - AeroWeather Lite review by Landis-CFI
Now the only weather application I use.. and I don't even fly!   Since almost the instant I installed this application it became my only weather application on the iPhone. It gave me more information than any other weather application, more current information, and most importantly accurate information! It doesn't do long term forecast but when I want to know what the weather is like anywhere it refreshes the 12 stations I have in it nearly instantly and it gives me a picture of the weather all around my area. The search feature to find local flight weather stations is also great! My only minor suggestion is to be able to drill down on some of the symbols and break down or give a brief explanation of the acronyms for us non-pilots. Truly one of my favorite iPhone applications! - AeroWeather Lite review by crsouser
I love it   As a professional pilot, I must say that this is a great app. It's nice to be able to get a quick "unofficial" weather forecast for every airport I'll be flying into on a given day. And it sure beats having to look up the airports one at a time, which I've been doing with the aviation.mobi WebApp. If only this had radar pictures, it would be absolutely perfect! - AeroWeather Lite review by Yzerdude
I want more!!   Would like to the data update continously. Right now I have to call the ASOS/ASOS directly to get info between hourlies. - AeroWeather Lite review by Tornadoes Rule
I love this App!!   I have too many apps but I decided to give this a try. A real nice app for pilots.Quick METARS decoded or raw, clean and simple with a nice expanded page view foreach station in your list. - AeroWeather Lite review by megfilmwork
Hey Pascal, I owe you one for AeroWeather !   Take a look at my YouTube moniker, "TUUTUUTANGO" and you'll see that I started flying lessons when I was 10 years old... That by the way was WAY BACK in 1961, and you'll see I learned this stuff from my dad, an old WW2 Army Air Corps flight instructor, WHO TAUGHT GUYS FROM NEW YORK how to fly airplanes in the 40s, WHO DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A CAR! (If you visit me on YouTube, please also see the memorial video I made for my dad, and look for my video "First Flight" showing me flying an airplane I built in my backyard. This video is the "maiden-voyage" and I had 2 micro-cams in the cockpit with me... geeze and BOY HOWDY when I landed... :)I am just a VFR pilot these days, fly off a grass strip on my farm and I don't fly into complicated airspace... The APP, "AeroWeather" is one of my favorite things on my new iPhone 3G. I guess most of us who fly either for a living, or on weekends when going after that $100 hamburger (or is it a $200 burger these days) well, we are also "weather junkies." If you are not a pilot, or at least a "pilot-wannabe" you'll benefit from this nifty software application on your iPhone. On my iPhone, if I get the bug or notion to go fly somewhere, I don't have to be near a terminal, FBO, on-line with my computer or in my living room watching The Weather Channel to help me make an INITIAL decision if I want to make a trip somewhere. AeroWeather allowed me to install my favorite airports on my iPhone, and it is so easy to pull up the software and quickly see if I want to make a fast trip to KFST for example. If "AeroWeather" suggests all looks good at Gibbs Field in Fort Stockton, Texas, then I get on DUATS and do the rest.I can also tell you that I considered downloading "WeatherBug" on my iPhone, but when I installed this on my PC a few years ago, it was as if I had a spy watching my every-move on every website I clicked on. I hated WeatherBug on my PC and tried to un-install it, but it was so "KGB-Big Brother" like, I had to haul the PC to a professional geek to have all the tracers, and "secret-agents" removed from my PC, and I didn't want to have this problem on my iPhone. With AeroWeather, Pascal Dreer has designed a simple interface. I like the simplicity and the fact that Pascal DOES NOT demand that you go online, register the software --- requiring you give him the name of your first-born, favorite color, mother's maiden name and all the hoopla some folks require when you get new software.Try AeroWeather for a quick app that will not make you pull your hair out, then please go see the flying videos I have on YouTube (including my flights in a B-52 and C-130...) - AeroWeather Lite review by My Name Is Roy

Great app   I've used this app on my desktop for a couple years and love it. Glad to see it on the iPhone now. - AeroWeather Lite review by 1lapilot
Perfect at what it does.   Great application. Does exactly what I need and for free. - AeroWeather Lite review by Cirrusflyer
Great App!!   It does everything it says plus more. This app is a good thing to have even if your not a pilot; you could use it for weather watches maybe if u r flying across country.. Works great. Thanks! - AeroWeather Lite review by gwairways
Great   Simple, easy to use, and does what it should. Thanks!!!! - AeroWeather Lite review by B747Driver
nice clean and works great   this is a great application that is very handy to use; even for professionals pilots. Recommended also for those studying weather data as you can display the weather in both raw and decoded format to check yourself. Recommendation for developer: add notams for the airport both raw and decoded (now that is a job in itself!) - AeroWeather Lite review by Utrecht1011
Great but...   Love this App. The text does seem to overflow its allotted space in the top text box though when in 'Decoded' mode. Otherwise, it's great. - AeroWeather Lite review by wleinen
Great App   This is the best free aviation weather app yet. Great job - AeroWeather Lite review by Joe in Indy
Nice App   Nice little app. This should not be free. I'd gladly pay for it. - AeroWeather Lite review by Dilbert008
