What's not to like? Very nicely done with an easy to understand interface. Great sound quality with no glitches. Surprised that they don't charge for it.

It's Last.fm, not Audioscrobbler I'm not going to complain about the fact Last.fm can't track your iTunes plays and use them to update your last.fm account like the desktop app does. Brilliant! These guys (actually the one guy doing coding it) "get's it"! As good as it gets for iPhone apps! Compare this to Pandora's app, and you'll know just how great this is. Sure, it sufferes from not being able to scrobble what you play from your own library, and it won't run in the background, but those are restrictions from Apple, not Last.fm. Without Apple's restrictions, this program could have been much better I have seen the program that was developed for the jailbroken iPhone and I have to say that it seems like it was a much better program. Not that great At first, I was excited about getting music and similar music without having to buy it. After the first couple of songs, the app would just crash. yes, this is terrible compared to the jailbreak version (mobilescrobbler) this is really just terrible. in short, i am not buying an iphone 3g or upgrading my iphone to 2.0 until this thing can scrobble plays in the background. what's sad is that c99koder developed this application and its completely hamstrung compared to it's jailbreak counterpart. - Last.fm review by pfile

This app is useless. The point of last.fm for most users is to be able to scrobble what we listen to in iTunes (and now, on our iPhone). Well, this app does not include scrobbling. Without scrobbling, what is Last.fm? Last.fm has forgotten its roots. Let's not, dear friends who began with AudioScrobbler so long ago, forget just what the point of Last.fm was meant to be - a way to look at what we like and to suggest similar tracks based on our patterns. What do we have now? None of that. I think this application should function like some of the 3rd party scrobbling software out there. Periodically look at the playcount data for updates, and scrobble those songs. This would obviate the need for the program to run in the background, though Apple, if you're listening, your restrictions are unpopular for a reason and you ought to change them. - Last.fm review by T-baums
Great application. Perfect for the iPhone/iPod Touch This is a well written application that allows you to stream music over any available connection. Faster than AOL and has more features and polish. Works great over EDGE (I'm still on first gen phone). Please don't compare or rate this application to MoblieScrobbler (Which I also loved). An excellent start! Having VERY reluctantly given up MobileScrobbler to upgrade to iPhone 2.0, I'm quite glad to see that Sam has made this offering for the AppStore. Of course, since it doesn't scrobble, there's a good possibility I'll be attempting to install MobileScrobbler 1.4.5 on firmware 2.0 once the jailbreak is available. Here's hoping it's not entirely incompatible.BTW, I'm also hoping for a timely update, since this 1.0 release seems to have a good bit of crashing. - Last.fm review by punkassjim
