Balls is a thing of beauty for your iPhone or iPod touch
Like windchimes, paint balls fall under gravity, rebounding off the walls and each other. As they collide, they produce harmonious sounds. As they glide, they leave colourful trails on your screen.

Gets boring quickly It's neat at first but quickly becomes dull. I like the concept but my attention spain is average so I don't find it interesting to watch for more than 1 minute. But on the bright side it's free.

Yes! This is an amazingly beautiful and well designed app. I have been looking for a screensaver type app for a long time and this is it!! Lots of customization is available! I will be looking for more apps like this in the future!!

Don't Ask...
Not quite Bloom but still cool As far as the category of "interesting theoretical objet d'art abstract tone-generating iPhone musical instruments" goes, Bloom surely sits near the top along with synthPond. Newcomer Balls enters the category as a strong freebie. Hopefully the developer will continue to refine it, as it's got a lot of potential to be a classic $.99 cent-er.

That was an interesting experience I downloaded this and had very mixed feelings towards it. My first impression was good. But after about a minute, some of the notes were off key and I started to get very unrelaxed feeling. But it went back to it's normal sound and I felt better. So tonight I tried it again and it sounded horrible!!! More than half the notes weren't in the major key and it sounded like a person with a terrible sense of rhythm was trying to write music for a horror movie. But I didn't turn it off right away because I was expecting it to get better. But I was WRONG!!! The balls just kept bouncing faster and faster and getting more bizzare sounding every second as the cacophony increased!!! At this point I was the opposite of relaxed! I was almost getting scared because it sounded so weird! I restarted the app over and over thinking it was maybe just bugged or something. But it just broke back into that creepy, cacophonous tune. I'm writing this right after hearing that at and I am almost sick to my stomach from hearing that. I'm really creeped out.
But here's the thing. I'm giving this app 3 stars because it has huge potential to be great! The actual tones aren't bad, just the order they are played in affects the mood. So if the creator of this app would change what is messed up, I would definitely give this app 50 stars if I could! Keep on working and this could be BIG!!!
