Wow I am amazed by how nicely designed this app is and the richness of the information contained. There are videos on the background and story for several painters and their art including Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Sandro Botticelli, Rembrandt, Jan van Eyck, Velazquez, etc. I shall have to visit the National Gallery when I go to London.

gorgeous Being a museum professional, I can see so many innovative uses for this app. Aside from the fantastic images, videos, and spoken word content – this application is beautifully designed. I really enjoyed the clever ways to access the information (like the spinning wheel). I’d love to see more of these created for museums. This app will help bring museums into the 21st century!

excellent FINALLY, an app for museums -I've been waiting a long time. I love using this both in and out of the gallery. The images are great; love the pinch zoom to see the details of a painting. Most of all I love hearing the audio and learning secrets about all the paintings. Hope more museums catch on and get one of these.

Bravo It's great that they offered multiple perspectives. I like hearing from the curators and art historians but it's brilliant to invite artists and authors to share their thoughts. Makes me want to go back to London. I hope they will continue to update the app with more works. Well done!

Cool and not over my head This app is so interesting. I don't claim to understand art but love the National Gallery - this app allowed me to explore artwork even further and now I can't wait to go back to NGL and see these pieces again after learning and 'zooming in' on so much more! Very Cool!

Must have for anyone interested in art Simply a wonderful, well thought out app. Once I started browsing, I could not put it down! I really hope that others will follow: Louve, MoMA, etc. I cannot afford to see these works in person, however, this app felt like a guided tour!

Wonderful app! Wow! This app is so well done and provides such insight into the different art pieces at the National Gallery. I like how there is video and audio as well as the ability to show the paintings enlarged. This would so great if a lot of the musuems of the world could have something like this done. The next best thing to actually being there! Can I be a lazy american AND still enjoy the fine art of the world?You can with Love Art:National Gallery.Its basically a walk through of all their famous collections with history & back ground stories from the experts. Having been there numerous times, it was still very cool and there were many things I didnt even know about individual pieces. Its probably the closest thing to "actually" being there. I checked it out while lying in a hammock in my back yard, drinking a cold one - Now THATS the best of both worlds!!I would love more updates in the future and it would be FANTASTIC if other museums would port their collections to this type of app.
