Send free picture messages (MMS) to any US mobile or email.
HOW DOES PICFREE WORK? Simply take a pic from your iPhone or use a photo from the Photo Library, then send that picture to any US mobile phone via MMS or even to an email.
IS SENDING PICTURES REALLY FREE? Hey, we’re the makers of Textfree. Of course sending pictures is free. Send as many pics as your little trigger finger can handle.
WHY GET PICFREE WHEN AT&T HAS MMS? With MMS on AT&T, you'll still have to PAY for each message you send. Plus, you can’t send MMS from an iPod touch. With Picfree, you send as many pics as you like--all free!
DOES PICFREE REALLY SEND AN MMS? Yes, Picfree really does send MMS--when the recipient’s phone can handle it. That means your picture message goes directly to your friend’s MMS supported phone.
CAN PICFREE RECEIVE MMS MESSAGES? Picfree is only for SENDING picture messages. Replies to messages you send will go to your email address. While iPhones can now receive MMS in the Messages app, there is still no way to receive MMS on the iPod touch.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SEND TO A PHONE THAT CAN’T RECEIVE MMS? For phones that can’t receive MMS/picture messages, use the ‘Send as text with a link to pic’ option. Your friend’ll get a normal text message with a link to the picture.
WILL PICFREE WORK ON IPOD TOUCH? Definitely. There isn’t a camera on an iPod touch, but you can use any photo from your Photo Library.

No waiting for AT&T!!! THis is a real MMS app that really sends picture messages to peoples phones. Now works with 3.0 and the camera view is SOOO much nicer. Simple, to the point and it works! Duh! I like how I can send pictures thru email with this too.

Stupid AT&T I was very disapointed in 3.0 release. It's whole purpose was suppsed to be the mms ability. I mean the other add on's are neat but come on....... Then after searching the web I found this app. Granted, you can't recieve incoming mms. But you can at least send pictures. Worth the 6 bucks. But still could use some improvement.

Needs a way to store what u send I like this app..and it would have gotten 4 stars if i could keep track of what was sent...maybe I haven't figured of out...but I didn't see anything...it wouldn't even need to be in the app...I'd be content with an email sent to my email address...also is the pic sent at the huge size that iPhone captures it? If so an option to reduce it would be great...I know u have the text link option for non-smart phone users..but a resizer would be even better.. But great thinking on ur part overall..

It really works! I have the 1st gen. iPhone which won't be able to send/recieve mms with 3.0. I never right reviews but I know there are many people out there sceptical like me who have tried many of these apps. The recipiant can't respond, so what. You can't recieve mms. Use mmsbuddy to recieve them. I hope this review helps...

Almost great. I also have Textfree unlimited for my iPhone, so I am familiar with Pinger.
This app has worked great since I got it, never crashed. The recipient always receives pictures sent.
The only thing I'd like to see different is to maybe link up responses to Textfree or personal texting number, instead of getting responses in my email. This might be too much to ask, but I tried puttin in my Textfree email, and it was not working.
But good application so far!

So far so good I can send pic tect to non iphone users...awsome!!! and when you send a "text" to an iphone user all you have to do is click on the link and it takes you directly to a web site and you see your pic ( i sent a text to myself as a trail lol)...no putting in all those # and letters to veiw a photo. Cool beans.....

Great App!!! I love this app. I can finally send picture messages. When I send pics to friends, it shows up as a regular picture message on their phone. The only difference is that it has my e-mail address instead of my phone number listed and all responses go to my e-mail. Why do people complain about this? With an iPhone, e-mails are just as easy to retrieve as text (or picture) messages. When people reply, the reply goes to my e-mail. Works great! This app never crashes and I love that I only had to pay a one time fee. I am also a fan of textfree. NOW I CAN SEND AS MANY PICTURE OR TEXT MESSAGES AS I WANT WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY A MONTHLY FEE!!!
