Simple, and lots of quality sources I want it easy to navigate, fast, and quality news sites. This delivers! For $1 it is great.
I do wish it had the capability to email news links. Also caching of site homepages would be awesome. I don't mind the unintrusive ad bar, but the price were higher it wouldn't be worth it.

Best news app! I turn to this app several times a day given its excellent (and comprehensive) news sources & how quickly it loads. I love how the recent update included even more news sources- giving it a good bang for your buck. This app is truly unparalleled. I can finally go paper-free and enjoy a broad range of news sources that provide full articles (not just a headline feed) that also include op-Ed pieces. The best While I'm a news junkie, I'm also cheap. That's why I've been happy to date with the free news apps by the AP, NY Times, etc. that are already in the app store. In fact, I didn't even know this one existed until I stumbled on it today. Wow! For a buck, this app gives you a huge selection of some of the best news sources in the US. It does an outstanding job, both in gathering all these sources into a single app and in formatting the news stories in a way that's intuitive and convenient. Hats off to the developer - this is a great job and a real five-star app!

Simply awesome! All the news in one easy app. One of my favorite apps....simple & efficient. A must have on every iPhone. Constantly updated. It would be nice if we could organize the logo's within the app (like we can with the apps on our iPhones) this way we can put our favorite news sources on the 1st page and ones we don't use on the last....still.... Get it..... Worth every penny and then some.

Well Done A well executed app. It's quick. Shaking to switch between full screen and overlaid controls is simple and nicely conceived. I only wish for a setting to allow the user to choose the nine sites on the pop-up selector from a longer list. For instance, I'd gladly trade CNBC for The Washington Post's iPhone-optimized site. And having Time, Newsweek and NPR as options would be welcome.Update: All of the sites requested above have now been added improving what was already a very good app. One more which would make this more complete is The Wall Street Journal's mobile site (which I didn't realize was generally accessible until seeing it in a competing news app). The AP (also in that competitor) and Politico might also be good additions.

Good news app but there's room for improvement. The number one thing it needs is to cache the story index pages. Without this it is too slow going from the stories back to the index because it has to reload from the network each time. This gets really annoying when you're reading lots of stories without a wifi connection. It also makes it needlessly expensive to use when on Int'l data roaming.
For that same reason it would be nice if there were a way to suppress loading of graphics.
Also, and this is probably due to the lack of caching, it rolls up rolls up expandable story lists (which a lot of these sites use) when you navigate back to the index page.
Otherwise a great product compared to other such apps I've tried.
