DO NOT USE!!! I got this application yesterday and found it slightly useful, but that was then.So this morning I go to use it again, and it freezes on me. it was bars of red and static. So I put it in my pocket, for some things I've noticed will take longer to load. So several hours later I remember it was in my pocket and go to get it. Well the program was still the same and my Ipod was hot, so hot that it burned my hand! So I go and see if syncing will work. Nada. Then I'm about to call tech support when the battery finally dies on me. Now though I'm worried that something might have melted in the iPod, because it isn't charging right. I'll see if it is working again tommorow, but I still say don't use, because if I hadn't of gotten it out of my pocket it would probably be a slab of metal right now.Again, DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!

Best Light Program Pros: Allows you to change colors red (night vision) and white are easily-accessible at opposite ends of the slider. Comes on at full brightness. Cons: Doesn't remember your last setting (I'd like to default to red if I'm at the symphony and want to read notes without disturbing other patrons). No option to override dim (hey it's my battery). Neutrals: Strobe and "Trippin" effects are cute features. Not really necessary, but add to the QPR. Why? Because I don't want Safari to default to blank or to have to load Photos. With this, I press a button and the "light" is instantaneous.Ingenious implementation of a standard idea. And at "Free" you can't beat the QPR (for this idea, anyway).

Nice. I actually dig this, and ponies up the measly buck.
To make it worth the dollars (and 5 stars instead of 4), may I suggest a booklight feature? That would involve killing the sleep mode (or at least setting a timer), and maybe a warm incandescent color, rather than just straight yellow.

Awesome I would pay money for this app. great to put in back window on the highway and set it to yellow strobe during a breakdown. One of the apps that makes the iphone a Swiss army knife of phones.

Review Great app...and now it's FREE. I like the extras "not light only" like some of the others. Some sugestions for a pro-version...which I would gladly pay for.
1. Add a flame bic lighter for concerts
2. A disco ball would be cool
3. Police/emergency vehicle lights
4. Soothing fire place fire for a romantic mood.
Just some ideas. Keep up the great job.

New update = FAIL. Removing the lighter? Uhh, no. I refuse to take your update and be forced to download a separate app. This is unacceptable nonsense.

Great Flashlight App! This flashlight app has all the features and lots of customization options. I especially love the rock concert setting, which is a lighter with a flickering flame. Another app offers only this feature and charges for it. myLite is free and has enough features to make it the best.

Great Idea! Photographers should be interested I'm going to download this. Right now it's being edited otherwise i would've waited to write the review until after I've used it. If it does what it says, it seems like a really great tool for adding depth and light to photographs taken in low light. There's nothing worse than refusing to take a photo with flash because you dont want to wash out the image but then getting a blurry or noisy photo. I'm hoping this will give me the colored luminance i need to get some really nice photos in low light.

1 program in 2 apps? I liked the app and interface until they removed the lighter. I don't particularly want two appliations especially when one is just a lighter. For free it's a great app if you haven't used it before. After this last update I think I'll just delete it until Rock Concert is added back. Updates in my opinion should give you additional features, not less or replacements.
