Internet entrepreneur The only downside I see to this app is I might walk into a sign or car as I'm looking down as I walk around neighborhoods looking at the Zestimates of the houses I walk by. This is a killer integration of the GPS with a compelling web app. I like how you can drill down and see price history and more on a particular property. I particularly like how it shows recently sold homes. I'm looking at buying in a neighborhood I'm not familiar with yet so this will be a great aid.

Poor, incorrect results and stats in my area On my street, many houses have incorrect square footage and lot size. My house, for instance, is listed as 240 square feet when it's more than 2500...! This presumably throws the price off compared to other houses and recent sales in the area. Seeing so many horribly inaccurate stats in these listings (same problems with many other houses in my street/area) raises the question of how this could possibly be trusted to reliably come up with home price estimates.
Very disappointing.

It's ok This is just a watered down version of the website. The app dosn't seem to be accurate at all at least in my area. It would be nice if you could refine the results to only show you certain types how properties or properties that meet a certain price range. But there are some other apps out there that are a little more useful.

Information unreliable It would be a great app...if the data were more accurate. Some of the homes were showing values 3-4 times than actual value.

Totally inaccurate and a waste of time The information/data is totally useless in my area. My own home was valued at 50k higher than what it is worth. The comparable sale given was 50k less than the real value of my home and in a neighborhood that was in no way comparable to mine.
The GPS feature would find homes but almost all addresses entered manually could not be found.
Don't waste your time on this app unless you just want a good laugh about home values. See a real estate agent for accurate data.

Too clunky for the iPhone There are countless smooth & brilliant apps. This is not one of theme. Very cool concept but the map interface is not the iPhone standard and is very sludgy. Lots of long waiting/loading, missing & questionable information, etc. Company doesn't seem nimble enough to tackle these problems and obviously subscribes to a "good enough" policy.

So so.... Accurate on prices of homes sold recently in my area. However the supposed value of properties in the area is quite innaccurate, such as stating a condo is worth $213k when I have seen the assesments and it is valued at $112k. Great for comparisons if your making a bid in a area with recent sales. Bad if you are looking for accurate value on the map. The listing section was about the same mix of fact and fantasy.

Worst app All this app is are a bunch of maps with random numbers and addresses. The Addresses are not in the proper place and the real estate info is fictional at best. The only accurite info about our house is the year it was built and the year it sold last.

Mediocre Zillow is a fantastic website. BUT this app has a general user experience that can best be described as MEDIOCRE.

Not even close This app is not even close to being accurate. Use this only as a general idea of what some of the houses are worth. In my case, it priced my house for what the land is worth without the 6,500 sq. ft. house that sits on it. It was off by at least $200,000.00.

Much improved The latest version (2.0) is far better than the first. It allows you to browse listings by zip code rather than just current location, and filter results by whether they are for sale or recently sold (useful for comps). The data loads much faster too. While it may not have every listing everywhere it is still very useful when house hunting.

Great app -- fun and fast I'll admit I'm a biased reviewer (I work at Zillow), but this really is a great app. The GPS feature lets the app follow me as I ride buses around Seattle, so I can quickly view for sale, recently sold, Make Me Move, and Zestimate information as I pass through various neighborhoods. When I see a house for sale out the window, I can immediately view interior photos, house stats (beds, baths, square footage), and previous sale info. For active home shoppers or just real estate nuts, this is a great app!

Great portable version of Zillow Excelent for finding what is on the market and what was paid for existing homes. Please add some of the extras that the actual Zillow website has. This is a great app since Zillow's main web page is incompatable with iPhone.

Great app for buyers, realtors or real estate junkies Zillow's app has data on almost every home. Walk down the street and click to see how much someone paid for their house, and what the "zestimate" is. Has homes for sale (click to see photos etc) as well.
GPS is slick. Pan and zoom very cool.
Walking around the neighborhood will never be the same.

New maps are a huge improvement I love the update. The new Google Map based homes search loads much faster. In installed a few real estate apps and find this one the most useful since when you zoom in, it shows all homes with value estimates, including homes that aren't for sale. Very useful for researching houses on a particular street, when they sold last and for how much.
