Caution: False Advertisement I bought the original version and was running it for a year. The original was worth the money.If you already own the original then dont bother updating to version 2.0 unless you really need the search.Search is the only thing it really adds.As for the False Advertisement I quote "+ Playlists: Create an on-the-fly playlist for later enjoyment"I would not call favorites and play list. In fact it says Playlist(s), more than one. Nope I dont see it.I see a favorite list you can add songs to but you cant name that playlist, or create more than one playlist.I could see paying for it if it had multiple playlist option and the search feature, but the only thing I see is a search feature.

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN UPDATE! Simplify media was once an awesome FREE app, then they started charging people who were a little delayed on downloading it. NOW they want you to pay AGAIN for something that should have been an update. JUST SO YOU ARE CLEAR, this is the same as the original app. With the exception of a search function and a few other added features. EXACT SAME PROGRAM with a new feature. Waste of $5. APPLE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS!

Not a waste of anything! First anyone reading reviews to best figure out if they are willing to purchase this app, buy it! 100 percent. So people looking to get crazy features for free? Stop whinning the app was never that expensive comparativly speaking to what it gives you the ability to do. So they updated it and you have to buy the new one? Get over it! Its still a great app with some new features that are in all honesty useful. I own both versions and it has never failed to not work. When i heard there was a new release i didnt even hesitate to buy it! Sound quality is much better than a 32 bit rate file but the app adjusts to your network throuput. So if you have a bad connection or are over a limited bandwidth type network it should dither down the bit rate. This only helps you not hinders in the listening of your music. So these people that complain are either fake plants by the compitition or they are some serious retards. They act as if they cant use the ipods native storage ability to create their "important must listen to music" playlist while having a secondary option to have access to their entire mp3 collection. If your some professional dj using the app to keep your punters buying tickets maybe not such a good idea to depend on the apps sound quality, but fareal man noone would do that right? Lets use some common sense people this app is high value for its cost. Iv never seen it not work ( cause i understand it has to populate the playlist before all my songs are accessable) It works beautifuly over edge, wifi, and 3g. Does as advertised. The quality is understandable due to the types of networks one might be on while using simplify media. Id have easily paid 20 dollars for this app! No doubt!

Great update It's a shame how ill-informed reviews can drag down an app's score -- this is an essential tool for my in-house wifi streaming and works beautifully. Well worth the $.

Pissed off!!! This should have been a free upgrade-does not improve much, except there pocketbook-I would like my account to be credited as it is a total waste of money!!! I know I won't buy anymore of this stuff from this company anymore. Please don't waste your money on this NEW program!! I hope they make things right-as this is so wrong apple!!! I know a lot of people that feel yhe same way-it is not that the money issue, just somebody trying to make a buck and run!!!

Few feature additions Not really a lot here over the prior version. It appears as a way for them to get more money while not adding a whole lot.
There are some poor qualities to this program. There are spots in the list that display blank for a long time. The retrieval routines are too long. When a new release is out you have to update your iPhone index. Very annoying. On top of that the need to scan your library on the computer keeps happening. Very time consuming and annoying.
Another is that the computer side of it looses username and password frequently.
Combined with the unhappy aspect of having to see album lists after selecting grenre as described below, all these are combined to make this a poor showing of a program.
When you choose to view by genre the artists should be listed next. They aren't. You have to search by album. It makes it hard to discern which greatest hits is the one you want to hear.
This is a major fubar on their part and should be addressed immediately. Otherwise just use xbmc remotes and have it all. There is a streamer app for it that does all this and more.
The crummy plus signs to add to favorites make the app look sophmoric. The need to give this a makeover.

Bad buisness This is terrible to do to your customers. You want me to pay you twice because you can't get it right the first time? The sound quality is terrible "when" it works. The PC app crashes often on a fresh xp box.

Shady practices abound Everyone should read through the latest reviews of Simplify v1.0. First time buyers will find great value in their purchase, but should go in expecting them to hit you up for more cash when they release Simplify 3.0.
Very disappointed in you simplify. I'm eating this 2.99 just to downvote.

With favorites, you should be able to have specific albums separated. All the
Favorites section does is lump all the songs together As far as I can see
Also a biggie: you cannot generate playlists on the fly . You can add songs to favorites that's it but all of you songs
Are lumped together So if you want
Seperate playlists it can't be done
Not good!
Searching by album will bring up a list of artists for that album but not the album itself very weak!
This app needs lots if work !

NOT THE POINT!! Simplify media advertises that you can make playlists
On the fly with the new upgrade. you cannot!! You can add songs to favorites that's it. So they are selling an app that doesn't perform as they advertised. THAT IS THE POINT!

double charging for relatively minor updates Simplify 1.0 was barely usable for me (looong load times whenever my library changed, which was almost every day) and a lack of flac support. So while I'm glad that flac is now supported, I can't believe they're charging another 3 bucks. It's absolutely ridiculous that a company would do this. I'm upgrading this time, just to make it usable, but I'll never financially support Simplify again. BTW - Winamp remote is FREE!!!

Can't listen to network centralized music Overall, I think this program works very well. Although I was a little upset that I had to pa for the update, I thought that maybe the version 2.0 would solve a problem I had with the previous version and therefore be worth the 3 dollars. The problem I've had is that my iTunes library is centralized on network storage so only one copy of my music can be used by several other computers. For some reason, though, when my iPhone connects through Simplify Media (Music), all I see is the music I hadn't moved to the network storage yet.

Ever so thankful Search for all libraries & ability to mark favorites are both awesome. I was actually planning to e-mail the developers about these two ideas and here they go already having it done. If you don't know about this app, for me, it saved about $250 because it kept me from having to replace a stolen 80 Gig iPod Classic. I have access to all my music any time, anywhere. The developers are great. Every time I've e-mailed them, I've received a prompt response. The only other feature I could think to ask for is the option/ability to view music from all friends in a unified library (without seeing duplicates). I got the first version for free. This is so worth the money for Version 2. I'm very glad you can specify which playlists to share. I had so many playlists, sometimes my iPhone would take a long time to update (hanging on 99%). Hopefully, this will remedy that. I wish I had more room to write more positive comments. Best App.

Very cool I was not a user of the older app and truth be known, I've been waiting for another companies iPhone app to come available that would allow me access to my music anywhere I go. This almost meets all of my requirements, but I'm sure Apple won't let me get what I want from this app for a looong time... multitasking! If I could just wander off and do something else (like check on Twitter and Facebook) while listening to my music, the 5th star would've magically appeared for me. Here's hoping this can be addressed. Here's also hoping a very similarly functioning iPhone app appears for my existing music cloud (lala).

Great new features, not so great price. I love the search options and favorites, but this really does not seem like something that couldn't have been a free update. I'm really disappointed that I essentially bought 2 identical apps from you guys, and now one of them wont be used anymore.
