Not useable R U Kidding. I usually don't write reviews about apps but saw this two star review for gym goal and had to speak up. First if all 5 star app until someone doesn't know how to use it.
Gymgoal appeals to the beginner who needs instruction on how to do exercises all the way to the pro by letting you add supersets and ur own workouts.
Everyone knows u should hit the gym with a plan already mapped out projected weight as well as sets and gymgoal allows u to do that as well. You can even setup rest periods between sets.
Nit inky will it jeep track of ur workouts but also weight and measurements as well. You may not lose weight but u can track all ur progress and see ur waist shrinking or biceps getting bigger.
The last thing I want to talk about is backups. The program backs up ur weight workouts and measurements so u don't have to mess with bonjour. This has saved my butt several times in the past allowing me to recover lost data.
If I do have to knock them in something it would be the fact that I can't add pictures to my measurements. Other than that it was well worth the 7.99. I paid for it. Great app if ur serious about ur fitness get it!!!

Good for beginners I joined the gym not too long ago and got overwhelmed with everyone's workouts and how busy they looked, I didn't know where to start. This application helped me to jump-start my workouts and stick to them. Now I feel relief when I go to the gym 'cause I don't have to stress out about thinking up exercises and routines 'cause they are right infront of me. I also appreciate the fact that this application does not restrict me from adding my own exercises. My friend was doing an exercise I liked the other day, and it was only too easy to log it into my routine.

Adjusting Exercises I like the built-in routines and the fact that I can adjust them to fit my needs. The application actually makes it easy for me to adjust the exercises I use because it will show me which ones I can replace them with. Which is cool 'cause I don't have to search and read through the entire exercise database.

Not realistic to use in gym The design is very poorly done, too convoluted. Needs to be more streamlined to be usable at a gym. Unless you want to spend more time flicking your phone then actually working out. Not worth the $5 in my opinion.

Good Selection It is difficult for me to do certain ecercises because I am older and my muscle strength is not what it used to be, but the selection that I am provided with in this application makes it much easier for me to stay healthy, since I can work out the same muscles in ways that are easier for me. I am glad I downloaded this application

New Fitness Routines I have been going to the gym and using the same routine I was shown when I joined for a few months now and I've been getting bored and unmotivated. This application has really allowed me to learn new ways to exercise the same muscles in different ways, allowing me to have a few different routines a week, encouraging me to come to the gym more often because of my variety of methods.

Happy With the Exercises The collection of exercises available have been just so useful to me and I have been using them every time I go to the gym. I love how I can track my progress and go back and set higher goals for myself as it is the only way to get me motivated. This app has done everything I would normally pay a trainer to do, and it stays by my side always. Even in the office!

Must have This is an absolute must for people that are serious about their health and fitness. It beats all of the applications on the market. I am so happy that this application has been letting me set up and track all of my workouts on my iPod touch. Good work guys, you've thought of it all.

Works for me This is a good application for people who are looking for an app that contains a good database of exercises to learn from. I went to the gym with this application, and although at first it was a little bit dificult for me to figure out how to use the interface, I found the application to be overall very useful. I found an easy way to track all of my workouts right away. After playing around with the app for about 15 minutes, I found where I could log my custom workout exercises, and although it took me a little while to figure out how to create one, it was possible for me to do so.I tracked the weights and reps I did throughout each workout successfully, and would recommend this program for anyone that would need to do just that. It was a good deal for a workout log/tracking program.

By Far The Best of The Best-Hands Down! SmalTex has once again demonstrated why it is the premiere IPhone Program Developer of its kind. It flagship Gymgoal Lite was already the leader of the pack; GymGoal-Promotion! (thanks for removing the 'Lite' because it was very misleading) is now in a league of its own, with others panting to catch up. The only question that I have regarding this program is why it was priced so low. It is worth far more than its price suggest.
