Also works as a conversion calculator Use "I" switch this app to the currency for the country you're in... Drag your home currency to the top so you don't have to search for it. Switch back to the conversion chart. Whenever you need a calculation: Click on the source currency at the top, it will display a window with the name of that currency, then click on that window and type in the amount that you want to convert. Update is ANNOYING!!! Went from 5 to 2 star app. I HATE the ads, and preffered having the master currency on top, instead of one long list. The add an the bottom take up room where the info update status used to be. And isn't it slick how the screenshot does not show the add in the product. I don't like it anymoore. Doesn't update I wanted to check USD vs INR(Indian rupees) and it showed the same rate of exchange for two days (1 usd = 42.885 inr). But when I checked on the Internet it had changed. - Currency review by Sudarshan

Works great, looks good, and it's localized! First of all I want to thank the developer of this app for bein one of the few who actually bother including localizations in their apps...!! The effort is highly appreaciated...!! I just wish that more would follow his example...The app itself is quote useful, has a nice clean interface (following Apple's GUI guidelines, unlike so many other gruesome apps in here) and does exactly what it says -- for free...! What more could you want...?! Oh well, maybe the one thing also requested by others: better tracking about the currency updates would be nice, hoping to see that in the next version...EDIT: After a while I saw that the German translation often uses phrases which are way to long and thus mess up the readability in some setups...! I have contacted the developer and informed him of the problem, he never replied though...!? Pleasenoads I'm glad I haven't upgraded yet because people say the ads are terrible. I agree as well. I'd gladly pay a couple dollars for this app if it helps but I really resent the ads. I refuse to upgrade until you fix the problem. Thank you however for calling it out on your release notes otherwise I probably would have deleted the app by now. Also your store screenshot doesn't show any ads which is nice and misleading.

To charge or not to charge How can this help the developer when the ad is displaying a link to anothet free app? Besides I already have the advertised app - so this is extra annoying. This developer among other developers making these apps needs to decide; charge for the app or create two different versions one paid one ad supported one. Pretty Good Graphics could use some improvement, but overall it's a nice app to have. I'm not quite sure about it's accuracy, but it gives you a pretty good estimate. It's way better than searching for it online. Thanks - Currency review by Ghallegher
1.2: Precious Metals doesn't work It looks like the latest update doesn't work -- at least for precious metals. Whenever I look up the price of gold, silver or platinum it says "0.00" per ounce. I don't think the program is parsing the data correctly... - Currency review by lurkingrue
Excellent! Very useful app I've been using this app since its launch. Enhancements released since then have made this app a really solid solution. The latest release with the flags is gorgeous. Works But sometimes the info button (i) is hard to press for some reason, and it would be nice if it was set up like Currency(dropdown menu) (amount) = Currency(dropdown menu) (amount). To change the currency you're converting from you need to go to settings. - Currency review by Timerider4
