Here's my opinion I think I have only written one other review but I wanted to write a review for this app because I recently drove 1600 miles and used it all the way. The app itself works great it just needs more people using it. It DID find police several times for me but I reorted more than it found. Thats ok because of everyone does this it will be a fantastic app.About the crashes.I only wound one crash bug and it's when you try to increase the map to it largest area. Until they get this fixed do NOT do this, it will crash your phone! Leave the map at the default magnification setting or lower and you will be ok.Feature requestI use tracking apps when I travel. Currently i've been using (and really likeing) the Instamapper GPS Tracker App. To use Trapseter I would have to go back and forth between the two apps. Developers, please look at the instamapper and see if you can integrate this into trapster....it makes sense. I have a live blog where people can track me via my iphone and it would even be a good way to advertsise your app by adding your logo on the Google map that is displayed. Awesome - beeped twice for me on the way to work . . . Downloaded this thing first thing this morning, by the time I got to work it had beeped twice over about a 15 mile commute. Works very well This app works great! The radar/cop positions are really accurate for my location (Phoenix), and the GPS positioning works really well. I tried it while driving around, and all the red light cameras were listed, and most of the popular cop hideouts were on there too. I also tried to add a radar location, which was very easy and quick. The "Rate Trap" feature is also very useful.A few complaints: It is really annoying having the iPhone repeatedly say that you are close to a trap while within range. Saying it once should be enough....Also, a few intersections had the same trap listed multiple times. Great idea This app is very great, the first versions were really unstable, but now they are better and it is working outside US. Love it...No problems here... Appruv.com did a review. We've had no problems at all. Maybe everyone needs to restart their devices and give it another try? Spectacular Used this app for a drive I took last night, and was surprised how well it knew all the police traps in my area. Looking forward to seeing it perform on my drive to work this am. I was even surprised to see that once my screen went black the phone continued to audible alert me. Crashed 3 out of 4 times Trapster must have a lot of friends writing reviews, because the reviews are either 5's or 1's.
This review falls in the 1 side. I installed the searched for speed traps ( didn't find any) and then started picking around the opptions. I was excited about the idea but the next 3 times I tried to open the app it crash and froze my phone so bad I couldn't even restart the iphone for a couple of minutes.

Simply awesome! 7 of us now using it on iPhone and 4 on BlackBerry. Not one of us has seen it crash. It's my favorite iPhone app. I can't believe I paid for iBeer which I've used only once and this is free and I use it every day. Please make the lady shut up after once though. Works great I love the idea, especially since I thought of it the first week I got an iPhone.
Could use
1. Road only alerts instead of a radius that picks up traps that are irrelevant.
2. Option to alert only 1 time instead of every X seconds (annoying when stopped near a trap)

GET THIS APP!!! The more peeps that DL this app and report cameras etc the more effective it is, yes it was pretty buggy at release had to re install it a few times but I knew they would update it & fix it & they did & it's great, a must have and FREE??? Why would you not give this 5 stars?
