Great Idea and Functionality except for... PROS: Love the concept and execution. Perfect tool for finding restaurants with different critera in the available citiesCONS: very limited number of available cities (e.g. none in NJ). Also, when you try to email a restaurant, only the name is sent, not the address/phone, link to map, website or anything else

One of the most usefull useless applications... It's a heated point of contention at our office where to go for lunch -- to the point we've considered installing a Price Is Right-style wheel with all the local restaurants in place of the numbers. Works just great here in Denver, I look forward to using it often.

Fun app The app works fine for me and brings up restaurants I had not thought of. I use it every day. Only issue is that initially it uses internet as source of restaurants and thus about 20% of the database is wrong. You can make submissions to add, edit, or delete restaurants (easiest through their online website) and I am doing that. If users will help update info, this can be a great app.

Decent application but double check info from another source I was recently in La Jolla looking for an Indian restauarant and Urbanspoon directed me to a restaurant that no longer existed. I would recommend double checking the information that Urbanspoon gives you from another source before venturing out to a restaurant you are not familiar with...or at least calling first.

Awesome We always have the problem of deciding where to go to eat. No one can ever come up with what they want to do so we sit around. This app is made for my group of friends. Luckily, I'm in an area where it can actually give quite a few recommendations as well.

Awesome. I live in dallas, so there are TONS of options avaliable and it is great!! I have to say this is probably my favorite app so far because it lets you pick the kind of food, the specific area, the price, or any just one or 2 of those! It probably wouldn't be so great in a small city, but in a big city it is great!

Interessting app at a great price point This is probably the most fun "where should we eat today" app out there in the App Store. Two things need to improve upon: 1) Show restaurant on map function should take you to the built-in Google Maps and 2) It is not very sensitive to the shaking gesture and I had to shake it really hard to make it work sometimes.

If it didn't crash ... It keeps crashing when it asks me find location. On top of that, when you choose a location instead of letting it find location, it didn't have anything in our area and when I searched a larger area I know very well, it didn't list a LOT of major local food attractions. I like the idea, but crashing, limited areas and the missing attractions keep this down. If they can fix it with updates, I think this could be a great app.

Perfect for the indecisive person I've used this app for a couple of days now, and am pleasantly surprised at the number of restaurants in its database. Lots of restaurants with reviews, and it makes a usually boring task a bit more manageable.My only gripe is that, when locked into one neighborhood, I tend to get the same restaurant show up twice out of every eight or so shakes. Urbanspoon mentions that it skews the results towards favorably rated restaurants, and it's possible that the area doesn't have many choices. Either way, this is an excellent first version of a promising app.
