Hours Time Manager
"Hours" was created for the difficult entrance examination race in Japan as a time management tool that leads to success.
This app visualizes your daily habits through simple input and helps everyone from test takers to businesspeople to achieve their goals and manage their time.
We had been working at a university entrance exam preparation school. As you know, university entrance exams in Japan are brutal. Students must study efficiently and show results.
In order to make students get into their desired university in this environment there was a need to go beyond classes to maintain students’ motivation as well as manage their time.
We developed a program for that purpose 10 years ago. At first it was on the web and only used by students, but now it is also an iPhone app that has been redesigned so that people other than entrance exam takers and use it. For example, it’s possible to get into the top 5% in a specific subject through an investment of 1,400 hours. "Hours" is sure to be a life changer for people who utilize its full potential.

<Usage Basics>
▪Mornings: Set up a plan while entering the rough flow of your day.
▪Use “check-in” to start the timer when starting to study or deciding the time to have some fun.
▪Evenings: Take the time to confirm the details before you go to bed as you become more aware of how you spent the day.
-Actions fall into 5 categories-
▪[sleeping hours]:From midnight to when you wake up in the morning. Sleep before midnight is recorded for the previous day.
▪[binding hours]:Time that you have no ability to change, such as school hours, work hours, commuting times, or meal times is put in this category. Classes that play an active part in your goal are placed in invested hours.
▪[invested hours]:This is important. Time actively spent working and thinking is put here. Classes that do not play an active role are placed in binding hours.
▪[wasted hours]:The important thing is accurately recording this time. Occasionally, you will actively waste time. If there is too much time wasted, it naturally becomes harder to try your best.
▪[unexplained hours]:TPeople who are not successful have a lot of unaccounted-for time. Avoiding times like these naturally makes you more successful. QOOQ
