-----------------------------------------------
This app was created in 2007, by a young professional, fresh out of college who wanted to keep track of his newly acquired bills, expenses, paychecks and savings.
It began its life as a spreadsheet saved on a thumb drive. At that time it was already very innovative and simple at the same time.
After its creation it was used each payday to guide the user through his bills and savings.
After just a month or two, he began to notice that there was more money in his savings account.
He noticed he had more accountability of his personal expenses. And he knew that all of this new found financial control was not gained through hiring an accountant or a big box of financial software. This new financial control was through this simple little spreadsheet he’d created on his lunch break.
After telling several friends and family members about this new budget manager he’d created, they began to want a copy. About a dozen people used it regularly before he began to notice that people were actually having their own eyes opened by how much control this simple system offered.
He discovered that it was the simplicity of this program that made it so effective. It seemed as if people did not grow bored or feel like someone or something was controlling how and what they spent their money on. It simply served as a guideline without intruding any further. All of the expenses could be adjusted, customized and made to fulfill the users financial needs.
It wasn’t until early 2011 that the idea to make an iPhone Application out of this app and thusly adding a graphical user interface that wouldn’t be boring like a spreadsheet. And, with the addition of the calendar feature and being able to many different types of transactions.
The PROFILE SCREEN gives the user a snapshot of their current pay period and shows them how much they’ve got in each section of their personal finances (EX: Savings, Bills, Paychecks)...
The CALENDAR SCREEN gives the user a birds eye view of their finances on a monthly basis and allows them to see how many and what kind of finances are in their pay current and other pay periods.
Lastly, the TRANSACTION SCREEN allows the user to enter their different transactions while being able to schedule a one time or a recurring transaction with the same screen....
So please, take a look around, it’s only $.99 and you’ll be surprised what a difference this app will make in your personal finances. This isn’t something you’ll have to use each and every time you go to pay bills, eventually you’ll most likely form a habit of spending and savings that’ll fit your way of life and the app will no longer be needed, but it will have paid for itself thousands of times over.
Give it a shot! It’s only a buck! You’ll save that much using it once! Justin Doll
